The 'New York Times' Empire of Fantasy

[SNIP]

I once called the Democrat-Media complex an Empire of Lies, but the Times has gone way beyond that now. In a leading editorial last week, the Times showed itself to be the google-eyed emperor of an Empire of Fantasy, the Willy Wonka of a candy cane world that exists only within the confines of its pages.

The editorial was about Secretary of State John Kerry and was called — and so help me, I am not making this up — "America's Mr. Diplomacy." It began — really, hit the link and read it yourself, I'm not making this up! — thusly:

Since becoming secretary of state more than three years ago, John Kerry has been a man on a mission — multiple missions, in fact — relentlessly traveling the globe in search of diplomatic solutions to the world’s toughest problems.

His efforts have been daring and, at times, quixotic. He was no more successful than his predecessors in securing a lasting Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement. But without his persistence, the Iran nuclear deal in 2015 and last December’s global climate change agreement in Paris would almost certainly have been unattainable.

The cease-fire in Syria he negotiated last week with Russia could lead to yet another triumph — an end to the violence that has killed more than 400,000 Syrians and left many more without adequate food, water and medical supplies.

I do not know — I cannot imagine — how a person who lives by writing words could put such codswallop before the public and continue to look at himself in the mirror.[SNIP]

I wonder why that website thinks I want to send a “Challah-gram”? I always get Spanish ads when I’ve been looking up Spanish music, but Jewish ads are unusual.

Yeah. His highlight as a diplomat was when he flew James Taylor to France to sing, “You’ve Got A Friend.”

I refer to Kerry as ‘MR. Dipsh!t...

They get paid to write stuff like that.

The writers at the New York Times want you to think that they’re just “Wayward Girls”, but they are actually five buck whores.

The lunacy of the Sunday New York Times editorial section is a wonder to behold. The Catholic Church is going to bless same-sex unions! You can be happy being chronically unemployed! If only America was like Thailand! England was once saved by Muslims! Jews and Jihadis are the same! And a warden’s existential plea: “I executed a guy who murdered a 10 year old boy and do I feel guilty about it!”

Honestly, they could hire Bat Boy as a writer and it wouldn’t be any less loony.

But without his persistence, the Iran nuclear deal in 2015 and last December’s global climate change agreement in Paris would almost certainly have been unattainable.

Oh, please. I'm certain that Iran was quite eager for the deal that allows them to go full steam ahead in developing a nuclear bomb. And I'm sure Iran did not hesitate at all to take hundreds of millions of dollars in exchange for some hostages. I think the only "difficulties" were in holding down Iran's expectations--Iran was probably pushing for a lot more.

The cease-fire in Syria he negotiated last week with Russia could lead to yet another triumph...

Is the NYT author referring to the cease-fire that the US already broke? So we demonstrate plainly to Russia and the world that our word cannot be trusted--how is that a diplomatic victory? And why are we still trying to destabilize Syria, anyway?

We cannot afford to have Democrats in charge of foreign policy. They have bungled it every time. The world is a far more dangerous place now than it was when GWB stepped down, and four more years of such incompetency may well lead to another world war.

Foreign policy disaster after disaster.

WE have not seen such incompetence/anti-American idiocy since Carter.

They have made Bush look like an honest genius!

If I want to find things that are 180 degrees diametrically opposed to news and truth, I go straight for the NYT.

NYT, a filthy Commie rag of a newspaper that has managed to turn countless Americans against their own country. It will be a day for national celebration when it finally goes belly up. And the same goes for the Washington Post and a host of other dying newspapers in this country. GOOD RIDDANCE TO THEM ALL.
