* snip * A new Quinnipiac University poll shows that is Clinton suffering thanks to third-party nominees Gary Johnson and Jill Stein, whose support has soared among millennial voters. In that poll, Clinton leads Trump by 48% to 43% in a two-way match-up. Her head to head lead is particularly pronounced among voters aged 18-34, who pick Clinton over Trump by a margin of 55% to 34%.

But when Johnson and Stein are included in the survey, Clinton's lead over Trump falls to just 2%, or 41% to 39%, with Johnson at 13% and Stein at 4%.

Key point: Johnson and Stein are hurting Hillary more than they are hurting Trump. Stein I could have predicted. But Johnson was a bit of a surprise. Maybe the Bernie folks are looking his way.

The don’t like Hillary or Trump, but especially don’t like Hillary.

So the problems from Cankles in terms of the electoral trends:

1. Whites and Christians are abandoning the Democratic party in droves (down almost 20% in recent surveys from the high point)

2. Blacks and Hispanics are not as enthusiastic for HRC as she hoped. Further, the whole shifting of the electoral demographics in favor of non-whites may have been over-estimated.

3. The 18 - 34 voters prefer to go to third party if they cannot support Trump.

Many Bernie voters will NOT vote for CORRUPT HIllary. Bernie and Hillary have very similar politics but Bernie appears a lot more honest than Corrupt Hilliary

we may think Bernie socialist/commie voters are the scum of the earth but a lot of them are sick and tired of government lies and Corruption as Hilliary (and Obama) so spectacularly examplify

they want hard hard left but honesty and an END to the corruption

more of them than might be imagined will consider voting for Trump as long as he keeps emphasizing his commitment to CLEAN THE CROOKS out of WashDC, lock stock and barrel

as for the minor candidates, they are both pretty hard leftist or stateist or whatever (and nuts)... so they will atrract some of the Bernie Commie votes, sure enough....

Trump can get some of them... (since he is hardly very conservative to begin with and) as long as he keeps emphasizing he really wants to clean the liars and thieves out of our govt

On Wednesday last week Clinton said “I communicated about classified material on a wholly separate system” than her personal system.

What system she was referring to? What e-mail address did she use on this system? Why haven’t we heard about this system until now?

Or did she lie to the vet? The Forum? The People of the United States.

She needs to answer these questions.

Very true. And that's one of my criticisms of Trump. When Bernie dropped out, Trump threw a few insults Bernie's way, calling him weak, etc. IMO, Trump should have instead praised that part of Bernie's platform that emphasized battling corruption.

i hope Mr Trump is listening because...without changing his politics (he’s pretty liberal anyway, he just proposed yet another big government child-care program...etc !) ... but anyway Mr Trump can, without compromising his positions, he can get a LOT of Bernie voters by just continuing to really really empahsize how he’s gonna clean up or WASH Washington, DC

I don't buy some of this. Pat Caddell the master pollster says that the Trump vote is being under counted. He says take the polls you see and add five points to Trump and that is where it really lies.

there are lots of leftists Bernie voters... who want all the spending and BS programs you and I probably dont want

but they want government to stop LYING and they want politicians to stop STEALING or selling government favors to line their personal pockets
