A gay Chinese student activist on Monday lodged a suit against the Ministry of Education over school textbooks describing homosexuality as a mental disorder, the latest step by China's small but growing gay rights movement.
It is not illegal to be gay in China and these days many large Chinese cities have thriving gay scenes, though there is still a lot of family pressure to get married and have children, even for gay men and women.
Homosexuality was listed as a mental disorder until 2001.
However, Chinese universities continue to use textbooks that contain terms such as "disorder" and "impediment" to refer to homosexuality, research the Gay and Lesbian Campus Association of China carried out in 2014 found.

It is a mental disorder, just the first disorder that founded a political long and with enough people who make a living to fund it.

I think for some, the prior abused, it’s a disorder like PTSD. Victim reenacting the crime in an attempt to recover.
For others, I think it’s a fetish, like some are into leather.
For even other, I think it’s just flat-out debauchery - anything goes.

The liberal homosexuals in the United States that have now moved to very insane extremes of:
* now that we’ve redefined normal sexual behavior for men and women, because we feel this way, let’s redefine the definition of male and female based on how you feel, not biology
* we want marriage, and we want to be able to violate the definition of it by normalizing sex with other partners
* we want to be seen as sane and stable equal to married men and women, give us little children, ignore the higher rates of child abuse and worse life outcomes for kids

With a one-child reproduction policy and a culture that favors sons, there are probably a lot of young men who will never have the chance to find a woman. So it’s no surprise that China has a “thriving gay scene” in some of their cities.
Broadly put, I posit that it is an addiction to the devil’s meanness. Hair of the dog, as it were. Even if it should be the foulest, meanest cur in all existence.
Gospel is the only thing that can prevail over evil of that grade.
They’ve been challenging the Bible for decades now.
