Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said Monday he wants U.S. forces out of his country's south and blamed America for inflaming Muslim insurgencies in the region, in his first public statement opposing the presence of American troops.
Duterte has had an uneasy relationship with the U.S. since becoming president in June and has been openly critical of American security policies. As a candidate, he declared he would chart a foreign policy that would not depend on America, his country's treaty ally.

Come on, the US military has become politicized, semi-social work and PC from top-to-bottom.
I gotta hand it to this distasteful loudmouth —HE KNOWS HOW TO GET THE JOB DONE.
I’m completely sure that our PC military commanders in red pumps and pregnancy simulators are giving this Phillipino Ass-Kicker the What-for on just how much stuff they CANNOT DO, how many regulations MUST be followed, how it’s not nice nor American to perform XYZ on the prisoners to get them to talk, can’t serve them 100 dishes with pork up their ass, etc.
Under THIS administration and his rule I’d say if you clear out our crypto-Lawyers in green and let him Go To Work, there’ll be scary booms and blood-curdling screams in the jungle for a couple years and then 90% less trouble.
Our military has been taken over by LAWYERS who don’t let them adapt to the local culture, generally, and when they do it’s to put up with Boy Humping, etc.
In the ‘Stan sometimes the Muj could WHILE BEING WATCHED emplace mines but because they weren’t AIMING at our guys could not be engaged. Or if detected they discarded their weapons or simply ran into structures and could not be attacked cuz of our stupid, legalistic ROE, which the enemy knew consummately.
This guy is a loudmouth but I don’t buy the notion that his recent moves are simply cuz he doesn’t want to fight muzzles —it’s prolly cuz he wants to fight them SUCCESSFULLY.
NOBODY right now trusts the USA and considering who our leaders are I can’t say I blame them.
This is HIS country and a man unafraid to take out his own evil and corrupt people should be allowed to do as he pleases with an enemy within his borders.
We'll see if it goes too far and ends up with vigilantes hanging innocent people.
My wife is from the Philippines and keeps up fairly well with news coming from there. She told me 22,000 police officers were recently drug tested and only 2,000 were clean. Duterte, told them not to worry but they better clean up.
If Trump can win the Presidency, I’d be willing to bet Duterte and Trump will get along fine. Duterte despises Obama.

How many of you know just what bastards we were to the Filipinos after WW11? After we put them in uniform and had them fight the Japanese for us - and they fought like tigers - and many died.
We promised them they would also get military benefits after the war.
We lied. Again. Like we did to the Kurds after Desert Storm.
And the Filipinos have struggled in poverty like you would not believe - while we rebuilt Japan - but have remained hard working, honest, people who have remained a lot more loyal to the US than is deserved.
