A key Federal Election Commission Republican warned Wednesday that liberals are moving aggressively to "amend the First Amendment" so that conservatives are silenced and businesses are chased "out of the democracy."
In some the toughest criticism leveled at Democrats, Commissioner Lee E. Goodman said that the attack started once the Tea Party changed American politics in the 2010 election and now dominates the politics of the Left.
"It has triggered a very aggressive movement by people to amend the First Amendment, left intellectuals have placed it on the table," Goodman said on Boston's Howie Carr show.

The is an organized and orchestrated attack on the First amendment Freedoms by the Democrat Party and the Obama administration.
The FEC is corrupt and is not doing its job of regulating elections.
It is working to deny Americans freedom of speech.

If they do this then they need to get rid of PBS and NPR which are 100 percent leftist. We know that will never happen.
AS long as the keep getting establishment campaign contributions, kickbacks and cushy post politics jobs they couldn't care less. As we have seen they like to huff and puff for the cameras but when it comes to it they always take a dive.
And this is what was worrisome about ‘the Tea Party’ movement, do we have the guts, organizational skill, and willing to forsake our sacred fortunes? Or do we need sunshine to brew our Tea?
Any of us that thought liberals/progressives/socialist/fascists would give up easily were fooling only ourselves. Can we organize enough to do this for the real long haul, it is going to take at least as long to undo the brainwashing that has permeated the culture. The left rules the education system, media, and as we have learned much of the government enforcement teams from the IRS to the Attorney General and FBI.
Electing Trump is only a tiny step. We have to take out the ruling culture.
Ideas have consequences more powerfully destructive than bombs. Thus when evolutionary humanists successfully, though stealthily, supplanted our Creator with an evolutionary cosmogony "we the people" were conceptually reduced to dehumanized products of evolution and our Constitution to the dust bin of history, thereby liberating progressive seculars to 'change free speech.'

Because they oppose freedom. Utterly. They lust for power, and their lust is insatiable. They don't reject God so much as they want to be god. Their goal is unattainable, therefore they never knock it off.

Again, they oppose freedom. They lust for power, for control, for domination.

And gutless Republican leaders do nothing.
But whether done on private property or in the public domain, the suppression of political speech is to be deplored because free speech is an element of personal liberty and absolutely necessary for the health of the commonweal. The Constitution prohibits it in the public arena because to suppress political speech is to court tyranny but the harm can be equally damaging when done in the private sphere.
Free speech is to be encouraged not just because it is constitutional but because it is right.
