7-11 Needlessly Obscures Presidential Coffee Cup Poll

Why, 7-11, WHY?  Is no one in your convenience store chain organization familiar with that old adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?" And fix it they did. Oh how they fixed it.

Despite the fact that the 7-11 presidential coffee cup poll has accurately predicted the outcome in every election since it began in 2000, this year they changed it in a major way. So is the nation leaning red or blue? Neither. According to their new method the USA is an indeterminate purple. Yes, this year you can pick a purple cup. The completely unnecessary, and confusing, change was reported recently in Fortune:

Completely dopey. From the "neutral" color scheme of purple which looks way too much like blue to the fact the names of the candidates don't even appear on the coffee cups. Oh, and good luck even finding the right cups because I sure didn't. Only dopey purple was available at my 7-11.

Hardly stupid - they’re protecting the Hillary election fraud.

Some purchasers simply look to see if the cup says, "12-oz, 16-oz, or 24-oz" on the side.
Most will not remotely pay attention to the color of the paper cup and only wish to get their coffee and go.

Here is the 7-11 web site link to the cup tally, they update it daily

In my area the Republicans are ahead. That Speak up Cup idea is stupid, they wanted to throw in something to muddy the waters and keep the poll from showing that Hillary is losing.

I saw the cups at the 7-11 in my small liberal hip city. I commented to the clerk about them and he said the republican ones were going gangbusters. I added to the count but didn’t even want a large. I didn’t realize that they are extra large cups and 7-11 got more of my money than usual.

Our hip liberal city does not allow styrafoam in any form. These cups skirt the ordinance.
