I met Phyllis once at a CRA meeting. She was sharp as a tack— a great, lightning fast intellect. She will be fondly remembered by many and forever missed.

You were privileged -- in a good way!

what happens to the Eagle Forum?

I remember the GOPe types where having hissy fits because she endorsed Trump and tried to take control.

She and Barry Goldwater were the people that formed me as a conservative teenager. Later, Russell Kirk, Buckley, Reagan and others but she was there in the sixties showing the path ahead.

Thank you very much for this link to Phyllis Schlafly’s 1964 book “A Choice, Not an Echo”.

52 years have passed and we have seen the Kingmakers are still in action, determined to not let the people have their choice once again, and determined to protect their interests at the expense of America’s security and well being.

The Bush-Clinton cabal thought they had 2016 locked up, until Trump came along.

The future of America is directly tied to Trump winning in 2 days.

It took a lot of courage for Schlafly to publish this book in the course of the 1964 campaign. She pulled no punches.

So many lies we were told over the years, and so much betrayal by our own party.

No more.

Did she ever expose the later liberal Goldwater?

I doubt that she saw it as her job to critique other conservatives as they aged. If the public can’t why should she?
