By 1980 when the horrible truth about the Cambodian autogenocide could no longer be denied, Leftists shrugged,

“It wasn’t what we wanted.”

Grrr.....!

Once again white culture failed to keep non whites from butchering one another

And yet we’re not the more accomplished race

We’re just expected to act like it so others don’t have to take the blame they so richly deserve

Pol Pot died of old age

Yellow is a queer shade sometimes

The whole reason we were in Southeast Asia was the "Domino Theory" that liberals sneered at as warmongering paranoia. Yet when Vietnam fell to the communists, it didn't take long for Cambodia and Laos to degenerate into communist tyranny either.

Like Joe McCarthy, history has actually borne out the Domino Theory. Yet not one word of retraction has ever come from the liars and posers on the Left. Once again, the blood of millions is on their hands.

“It wasn’t what we wanted.”

So *that's* where Comey came up with the "there was no intent" line about Hillary...

The protests against the Vietnam war ended when the draft ended.

Those who hid behind their signs weren’t against war.

They were against THEM being in war.

“It would not be fair and balanced if I failed to mention that support for the Khmer Rouge became the position of Democratic and Republican politicians (including human rights champion Jimmy Carter and staunch anti-Communist Ronald Reagan)...”

I find that a bit difficult to believe.

Thanks for the comments. I agree with your take on that aspect of it.

Note that there is almost no reporting on Vietnam today. Why it’s such a perfect little oasis. LOL

Missed? When the premise is flawed so is the rest of the argument.

We had more sensors on Cambodia than people can possibly imagine. We knew exactly what was going on but the liberals hated the US defeating the North Vietnam communists so they demanded we stay out of the region, even though countless were being slaughtered there.

What the sign REALLY means:

Kids and babies could be easily swung by their ankles in an arc, the skull fatally impacting the tree trunk. Tree lean favors right arm dominant executioner.

TENS of thousands of kids and babies died at this tree.

That’s exactly right! My dad, who followed current events closely, always said that the anti-Viet Nam war activity ended with the draft. And he was NEVER wrong.

His son, luckily, had a very high number. It caused endless days of worry for us because, despite our conservative values, we knew this was a war the government wasn’t committed to.

Terrible times.

The west didn’t care. It was a progressive utopia Pol Pot learned from European French Marxism. Progressives can never admit the failures of their religion.

city workers being forced out of cities into the fields...

Kinda sounds like Venezuela huh.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see the rest of the marxist
playbook be used.

I don’t dispute your points except that as a somewhat educated person, I knew the Cambodian genocide was a Communist plot. Most people at the time knew that. Perhaps that’s why the film doesn’t state it although you may be right because future generations who watch it will be left in the dark.

Yes! And if we’re not careful (and we are not careful) we can expect to be marched into the fields. Where those fields are where I live, I don’t know. I guess we’ll have to blow up Co-op City in the Bronx to make way for those lovely killing...er, I mean green fields.
