I wonder what they mean by “African”. That could either be refugees from sub-Saharan Africa (Nigeria, Zimbabwe, etc), or from the Horn (Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan, etc), or “African” in name only (Libya, Tunisia).

And about the refugee program in general as it is practiced: I know most Americans are very compassionate people, but the problem is, what is truly a refugee? Unfortunately, at least 70-80% of the world lives under conditions that could be termed as difficult—poverty, deprivation, war and political instability. Under the loose standards that seem to be used by this Administration, billions of people in the world could be considered candidates for refugee status in the United States. We can’t possibly absorb all of them.
We need more Africans. So few here in GA. Seriously though, the areas where people whine most about “diversity and inclusion” are lily white. Send the Africans there. See if the tune changes.
