When you consider Kaepernick’s behavior in the context of the increasingly politically-correct NFL and the way Tim Tebow was treated and ultimately blackballed, it’s clearly not just Kaepernick and his like-minded (i.e., simple-minded) allies, it’s the NFL as a sick, broken institution.
I liked his hair cut. Get a couple of jarheads hold him by the feet and they can scrub the toilet bowls in the latrine.
Another poster said that she’s got his balls in her pocket.
Sad to see what happens when little head does the “thinking” instead of the big head.
That’s the best idea — security guys call in with “Blue Flu” en masse an hour before the game. Games are cancelled. People in the bleachers have to go home. TV broadcasters screwed. Advertisers screwed. NFL super screwed.
I think their rule book would have an emergency update before 9/11/16.
This is a trendy thing we will see lots of wagon jumpers.
If Trump gets elected, tons of prima donnas are waiting in the wings to demonstrate "He's not my president".
Since 1955, the official NFL footballs have been made at the Wilson factory in Ada, Ohio. Each football is handmade from cowhide sourced from Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. The hides are tanned in Ada with a “top secret football-weather-optimizing tanning recipe.”
How crazy is it? The NBA actually sets a higher standard for decorum and appearance.
I’m thinking there will be a rule implemented for most of the professional sports leagues that, at minimum, requires players/coaches/managers/staff to rise and maintain a respectful silence when the U.S. national anthem or anthem of another country is played or sung.

Exactly right. He’s doing this because he was forgotten, a 2nd string quarterback. He had to do something to get his name back out there. Way to go, now even more people can’t stand him.
I made myself read the entire article and all I was left with was, “huh?” He doesn’t even make sense. I love this country but I hate the flag. WTH?
And I love how this stunt he is pulling is supposed to help black people, our race relations. The flag and the honoring of it has nothing to do with race. That flag represents every American.You want to impress me Kaperdick, refuse to put that hand out and accept the American dollar. I’m so sick of the black community saying they’re oppressed. Hell we’re all oppressed by our government in one form or another. But they get more goodies than whites do.
It’s good to know that there are some who still have good sense. It’s good to know that not everyone wants a hand out, and I’m talking about all races.
If this country is so horrible LEAVE.
