Gas with 10% ethanol can ruin lawnmower engines.

What I do know is you better not let stale 10% ethanol gas stay in your lawnmower tank over winter or you will have to get the carburetor cleaned out in the spring. One of my lessons learned the hard way.

If you leave it in long enough, it just runs out of the bottom of the fuel bowl through the rust hole. Great stuff.
