The Supreme Court on Wednesday turned away an emergency appeal from Republican leaders in North Carolina who were hoping to reinstate new voting rules that were struck down in July as racially biased.
The justices said they were deadlocked 4-4 and would not intervene, leaving in place the state’s rules for casting ballots and early voting that were used before 2013. The vote split on ideological lines.

No in Wake county where the capital is we are asked our name and address which you can easily read if you can read upside down. I have never seen them compare my signature in fact several times I have been shown the names list and ask “ is this you”

What is in the Constitution on which a judge can cite that would nor permit showing ID in order to vote?? I don’t understand.

I was then and I always will be very suspicious that no autopsy was performed on Justice Scalia.
