It's not the length of the course; it's the intensity (or as Indiana Jones said, "it's not the years, Honey, it's the mileage"). I still remember police baton training. We had two guys with padding charging us and we had to use the batons on the back of their knees as they laid into us. For two minutes straight. I Have never been that tired and spent in such a short time in my life. It doesn't sound like a lot but get into a boxing ring for even one minute and try it It's a heart killer. I doubt Kaepernick could handle it without whining.
