A California sheriff’s office wants Colin Kaepernick to see firsthand what kind of training they go through. (snip)
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
It’s a common policy to place officers on paid leave after they’re involved in a shooting while law enforcement agencies conduct investigations.
But there was one particular comment by Kaepernick that stood out to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office in Oakland, California.
“You can become a cop in six months, and don’t have to have the same amount of training as a cosmetologist, that’s insane,” Kaepernick said in a post-game interview.
A Facebook post by the sheriff’s office called out that comment and invited Kaepernick to come see their training for himself and have an “open dialogue.”
“The (Regional Training Center) is currently in session hosting our 156th and 157th basic police academies,” the post reads. “In addition to the academy, we train thousands of law enforcement officers from throughout the state and country in all aspects of our profession, including use of force.”

Kaepernick has crossed the Rubicon. There is no way he can be walked back from his disastrous decision.This guy can never be the starting QB of an NFL team. The QB is the leader and must have the absolute trust of his team. Many would have difficulty following him anywhere. Yet ha may have a future as a Democratic politician.
Better yet, take him to Gettysburg

Think of all the fellow players, fans in the stands and viewers at home who have friends or relatives who are either in or served in the nation’s military forces? He has angered millions of people with his childish display of petulance and disrespect.

Good way to call his bluff. Washington DC MPD invited a bunch of (primarily black) “community activist” “pastors” to join them for some simulated use of force exercises. Apparently it was highly educational for the invitees and really adjusted some of their attitudes.
Great maybe he can see that cops don’t shoot mothers in the Chicago streets but that happens and someone shot them and you didn’t protest.
Let him ride around with the Chicago PD on a Saturday night. He’ll last 30 minutes before he runs crying back to his high security big mansion surrounded by wealthy crackers.
He’ll be a has been at 28. Hope he has a smart financial advisor or he’ll be broke in 6 months.
Kaepernick, a new Muslim recruit is now a Jihadist and is engaged to a BLM/Islam activist. They are planning on a traditional Muslim wedding.
During the off-season Colin Kaepernick converted to Islam. Colin Kaepernick is also engaged to Black Lives Matter activist and hip-hop radio personality DJ Nessa Diab. Black Lives Matter as an activist group is synonymous with promotion of authentic Islam.
In the social justice arena, there is no daylight between the various BLM activism groups, and activist Islam. They are interwoven amid every controversial eruption over the past six years. We have tried to draw attention to it numerous times, but many don’t fully grasp the scope of the relationship between radical Islam and Black Lives Matter. It’s a symbiosis, a complete synergy in activism and intent.
To some extent, so are those of us who will continue to support the 49’ers financially via tickets, jerseys, or buying products linked to the team.

High price to pay for a bit of ***** from a not very attractive Egyptian DJ with plastic ****. I don’t think the 49ers have enough guts to cut him this year, but he won’t be back in 2017.
