Veteran Peter A. Kaisen, 76, walked into the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center on Long Island Sunday to be seen about his mental health issues. When he was turned away at the emergency room, he went out to his car and shot himself.

While illegal aliens are moved to the front of the lines for health care.
This is a national disgrace and this is only one story.
The VA is institutionalized compassion. juggernaut humanism in place of the good.
Having worked in the ER of a civilian hospital for years I think there’s something missing here.Yes,official VA policy...or a stupid error my a VA staff member...might be involved here but there are other possibilities as well.
This is truly an, “I have no words,” post. I hope the person or persons who turned him away are fired & used.
Obama VA admin’s response will be that Vets with ANY mental issue shouldn’t own guns.
Sued
Barry uses the va to kill off older white veterans. Simple as that. They die waiting for care deliberaely withheld so they will eventually die.
It is planned and deliberate as most veterans are white and males.
Sad.
RIP comrade.

And the VA is the perfect example of government provided “healthcare”
Someone screwed up BIG TIME.
The VA I attend has priority on mental health issues, and complete, and thorough instructions on the telephone, and posted around the hospital for those to that degree of depression they would take their own lives.
This is a very sad state of affairs. I blame the left, the Democrats for this condition, the state of the nation that people, men of the military are in such a state of depression they will actually take their own lives.
Until we get some leadership that respects our Nation, our people, our military this will continue I fear.
Something similar happened two weeks ago, but I can’t recall the details at the moment.

True, but having experienced both VA and civilian ER care and in-patient care, the civilian hospital (Texas Health Presbyterian) was outstanding at all levels, they have to, as sub-standard care results in accountability and people can be fired and/or the hospital can lose patients and the hospital will go out of business. The VA is a headless bureaucrat heaven where nurses can’t be fired and the VA hospital can’t be sued eitherill try to dig out my VA hospital experienced and post to you. Amazing I survived my 5-days with the VA.
Veterans Secretary Robert A. McDonald eagerly called Traitorobama to inform him that his kakistocracy’s plan to reduce the number of veterans waiting for medical care is now starting to work.
What you said.
Heads should roll.
The point I was trying to make (badly, for sure ) is that there are several Federal laws which apply to *just* this kind of situation...people who seek care at a hospital ER.It's certainly possible that the VA is exempt from these laws but if this man had presented to a civilian ER he would have been assessed and,if they were unable to care for him for any reason,he would have been transferred,by ambulance,to a facility that *could* care for him.
It’s like the TSA except they work in hospitals
Trump ad in the making.
Understood.
No argument here.
They know which groups vote for them and which don’t.
