The Enemy Is Us

Your government is on red alert: between 2006 and 2014, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), an agency of the Department of Agriculture, spent nearly $4.8 million to purchase shotguns, propane cannons, liquid explosives, pyro supplies, drones, thermal imaging cameras, and more.

APHIS describes itself as “a multi-faceted Agency with a broad mission area that includes protecting and promoting U.S. agricultural health, administering the Animal Welfare Act, and carrying out wildlife damage management activities.” Liquid explosives and shotguns are apparently necessary to carry out its “broad mission.”

This is one of many revelations found in a new investigative report titled “The Militarization of America: Non-Military Federal Agencies Purchases of Guns, Ammo, and Military-style Equipment” published by American Transparency, a nonpartisan watchdog group. Former U.S. Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK), chairman of the organization, points out that, “In the nine years until 2014, we found 67 agencies unaffiliated with the Defense Department bought $1.48 billion in weapons and ammunition. Of this total, $335.1 million was spent by agencies traditionally viewed as regulatory or administrative, such as the Smithsonian Institution and the US Mint.”

The Department of Veterans Affairs -- which is responsible for a number of fatalities due to medical care incompetence -- has acquired nearly $11.7 million in defensive weaponry. The report also notes that, “The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) spent $3.1 million on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment. The EPA has spent $715 million on its ‘Criminal Enforcement Division’ from FY2005 to present even as the agency has come under fire for failing to perform its basic functions.”

It would not surprise me if you was one of those who couldn't praise Paul Ryan enough and claimed you pushed the button for him as president in the 2012 general election instead of Mitt Romney the presidential nominee.

On the other hand you might have sat the election out, because you did not like the Republican nominee.

In this case I blame you for the reelection of that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Unfortunately I haven’t “praised” anyone since Reagan, as for Mittens, I got good and Drunk before voting for him in the hopes I wouldn’t remember.

Stockpiling weapons doesn’t equate to military skill and competence. Ninety-nine percent of federal bureaucrats are fat, low IQ squishes who wouldn’t last five minutes on a battlefield, provided they could be persuaded to pick up a weapon. Don’t believe me? Take a walk through any federal bureaucracy and report back on how comfortable you’d feel leading these fat, leftist jellyfish into combat.

We do not have a Republican Congress.

Leftists live and thrive by infiltration and subversion. The Republican Party was long ago co-opted by leftists masquerading as conservatives.

(After all, these elitists all attended the same ivy-league schools, which were long ago co-opted by Marxists: Do you really think that their young, impressionable minds, with their youthful, insecure need for acceptance, were invulnerable to concerted, communistic indoctrination?)

It is called Controlled Opposition, a la Vladimir Lenin, and We The People are its victims.

The impostors denouncing Donald Trump as not conservative are themselves not conservative.

Government of the government, by the government, for the government.

Yep, That’s a pretty fair assessment

A day or two in the Wash DC beltway area tells it all.
It’s the unrivalled gushing fountain of prosperity for taxpayer funded govt drones and their private sector suppliers / consultants / lobbyists.

Sergentdave, part of the reasoning that you gave is reasons that we should be fearful of these people. Many would do anything to protect those cushy jobs that they have and many wouldn’t hesitate to put a bullet into the masses if it kept themselves high and dry. Many bureaucrats seem to view themselves above the commoners. Yes, many are fat and lazy, but it doesn’t take much training for even a lard butt to kill. especially since they will have almost unlimited ammo.

“Yes, many are fat and lazy, but it doesn’t take much training for even a lard butt to kill.”

Believe me, it takes an extraordinary amount of discipline, money and training to create a warrior.

Take my test, sicandtired:

Walk into any federal bureaucratic office, and then come back and tell me how comfortable you’d be leading these fat, 50 IQ, AA slugs into combat.
