Full title: Commissioner for Human Rights: Russia protects and will protect Christians and combat Christianophobia
Moscow, August 24, 2016
Russia protects and will protect Christians and combat Christianophobia in all international arenas, including the UN. Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Foreign Ministry Constantine Dolgov gave this assurance today, reports Tsargrad.tv.
According to him, Russia is counting on support from dozens of countries, and not only those with a predominantly Christian population.
Specifying the categorical impermissibility of double standards in this question, Dolgov spoke on the need to decisively thwart the oppression and genocide of Christians. He called these shameful phenomena a powerful and lasting destabilizing factor in the world.

Shame on our government for not speaking up this way.
And our government is protecting muzards and fighting anyone who opposes their violence.
Even if you are cynical about what Russia is doing, our president’s inaction in protecting Christians around the world opened the door for this.
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Russia is the country standing up for Christians?
They were the Soviet Union for most of my life and it seemed unimaginable that they would ever be the protector of Christianity.
Guess that what happens when we let godless comminists take over our government.
Hard to believe in view of how USSR Russia is systematically closing Evangelical churches, arresting and fining Pastors and congregants. Evangelizing outside of churches is not allowed, other than the Russian Orthodox Church, which had become nothing more than a branch of the KGB and likely still is infested with Putin’s cohorts.

To Putinistas those are human rights.
We don't have to guess, the "churches" become PC government propaganda distribution organizations, and enablers of degenerate culture.
Gay Church is an organization that promotes homosexuality throughout Western Church and Culture. Their Find an Affirming Church search engine lists near 1000 Gay Churches in California alone, and more than 200 in England.
Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Russia is the country standing up for Christians?
Interestingly, there are none of these "Affirming Churches" in Russia to Evangelize, much to the dismay of Leftist Homos everywhere.
Here we get down to the nitty gritty, Russia is not hard on Christianity, she's hard on Homo and hard Leftist "Christianity", but the Western Prog Commie MSM portray her as the Commie Russian Orthodox bullies and Western Homo Liberal "Christianity" as "oppressed", after all Russian Orthodox MUST be co-opted because they survived Communism.
Whose religious principles survived Communism, again?
The land of Homo everything or the land where you keep your Homo agitation outside of the Church and away from children, or else?
Kiril I, aka "Mkhailov", Bishop Igor Susemihl, etc.
Konstanin Kharchev, former chairman of the Soviet Council on Religious Affairs, explained: "Not a single candidate for the office of bishop or any other high-ranking office, much less a member of Holy Synod, went through without confirmation by the Central Committee of the CPSU and the KGB". The number of 'affirming' Evangelical churches can likely be counted on one hand! IF they are Bible-believing churches, then they certainly do not 'affirm' the homosexual lifestyle.
Putin has just done what real liberals would love to do to Christians:
Russia's Newest Law: No Evangelizing Outside of Church | Gleanings ...
Thousands fast after Putin signs law banning evangelism outside of ...
Which means that the state Russian Orthodox church now has even more power to deal with its competition. A return to the "good ol days." C h e k i s t s i n C a s s o c k s : T h e O r t h o d o x C h u r c h a n d t h e K G B
