Hillary Clinton is 16 points ahead of Donald Trump in Virginia, according to a new poll released Tuesday.

Clinton has 48 percent support to Trump's 32 percent among likely voters in the state, the Roanoke College survey found.

Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has 8 percent, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein got 3 percent. In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton's lead over Trump grows to 19 points.

The poll also showed improved favorability ratings for Clinton in Virginia. Thirty-nine percent said they saw the Democratic nominee favorably, while 45 percent saw her unfavorably.

I’d love to see the party ID breakdown on this one.

I’m betting its heavily D+ oversampled.

All those fat cat government workers, who live in the wealthiest part of the USA, the five counties around D. C. They naturally will vote for Big Government, their bread and butter.

Since the race is tied, there is no way on earth Hillary is up by 16 points in VA.

Not gonna happen in a blue moon. In real life, its within the margin of error.

48 for
32 against

Remember all these people work in D.C.
The majority of them are Democrats.

What were people expecting from Virginia ..??

MSNBC was citing a poll this morning how Trump was down. It was a frigging on line poll for crying out loud.

You can smell the desperation from the media.

This total BS
The survey of Florida Republicans (numbering 479) and Democrats (numbering 532), was taken online from August 14 to August 18,

I can believe it. I lived in VA for almost six years and even back then the bureaucrats in the north and Central American farmworkers were flowing in.

I’ll bet each Central American family has had six+ kids who are all now on the D voting rolls.

I’m betting its 16+ D advantage.

That’s not gonna happen in VA.

The national race is a dead heat and if Hillary is really leading in VA, its within single digits.

Yup. When they have more Ds than R’s, you know such polls have no credibility.

They’re desperate to boost Hillary at a time her national numbers have tanked.

You are right. They are polling heavy in NOVA and I was at a meeting last night. It is far closer than this poll says.

"Clinton was preferred by likely voters to Trump on a variety of issues, including the economy (50%-43%), terrorism (55%-38%), health care (57%-33%), race relations (66%-21%), immigration (56%-36%), foreign policy (64%-28%), and firearms policy (47%-43%)."

This planet only exists in the Bizarro universe.
