Since the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, we've founded a gun violence prevention organization, Americans for Responsible Solutions, and criss-crossed the nation, speaking out about the commonsense solutions, like closing loopholes in our criminal background check laws for gun sales, that have been proven to reduce gun violence and save lives. We've met with gun violence survivors, legislators and testified before Congress. We've heard from those on the front lines of our national gun violence crisis. We've worked with veterans, law enforcement, businessmen and women, members of the clergy, and domestic violence prevention leaders.

“Since the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, we’ve founded a gun violence prevention organization, and we are raking in the dough from the suckers”.
Pure unadulterated bull$h!t.
Fart and Blabby going on with more lies.
Oh really? Let's see the study that proved that.

Well at least it put and end to ALL domestic violence. Right? At least that’s one of the selling points for ballot question#1 here in NV for Nov.
When politicians, and their spouses, begin to speak about ‘common sense’ anything, check your six!
THEY sit and ponder and define ‘common sense’, according to their alimentary canal viewpoint, NOT what would actually work, or reinforce whatever laws are ALREADY in place.
‘Common sense gun laws’ actually mean MORE gun laws written against the actual common sensed gun owners, and NOTHING against the THUGS who are breaking established gun laws, daily.
The boogeyman ‘gun violence’, should be treated as it is, a daily menu of murder gone unchecked, due to lax judges, plea bargains, and a disconcerted justice system, focused more on the longevity of those in offices as electable officials.
I, a disabled senior citizen military veteran, should be preached to, about ‘gun violence’??? What about the ‘truck’ that wants to approach me and bash my head while getting a ‘gasm??? I don’t think so!
In before someone starts saying Sandy Hook was a hoax with “crisis actors”.
“like closing loopholes in our criminal background check laws for gun sales, that have been proven to reduce gun violence and save lives.”
How did that work out in San Bernadino and at that gay nightclub in Florida? As I understand it, there is no loophole to close. A criminal applying for a gun permit or to buy a gun will get tagged and denied.
LOL! Yeah, I got a “response” from hairy screed last week noting that my “opposition to new gun SAFETY laws” had been noted. Guess I’m the bad guy huh? He’ll be gone in a few months.
The sandy hook and current flood problems are the result of building structures too near the ground in a flood zone
What are the guidelines regarding Background Checks?
You’re a Felon, no Gun.
You’re an Illegal Invader, no Gun.
You are a Legal Resident, not a Citizen, no Gun.
(at least it should be IMHO)
You’re a Minor, no Gun.
What else is there? There in lies the problem, who makes the rules?
Nowadays someone can “accuse” you of something without you getting your day in Court and they can take away your Guns.
like closing loopholes in our criminal background check laws for gun sales, that have been proven to reduce gun violence and save lives.
Wow, where did they prove that? So called Gun Crime has increased in almost every Large Democrat run City.
dear rktman,
My ‘ethereal’ notion of ‘gun safety’ is that every able-bodied manjack that is available, exercise their ‘gun safety’ activities upon every thug that is on the street, to where there are no more thugs, or those that have crawled into the sidewalk stay there, for they now know what they reap.
When a liberal says they want gun control “for the children” I ask why they don’t oppose abortion since it will save hundreds of thousands of lives of children every year.
“... members of clergy,...”
As someone who was in ministry in the past, it disgusts me how well the communists have infected the seminaries.
I was never in the service, but my dad taught me how to shoot a rifle when I was eight years old. Loved being with my dad, and really enjoyed smashing the watermelons and the old cans.
Later learned to shoot skeet. First time shooting a 410 shotgun (where do those decimal points go?). First time shooting, I hit 23 out of the 25 clay pigeons. I was hooked. My parents bought me a Remiington 1200. Love that shotgun. Had the barrel shortened just a bit to fit my shoulder.
Then while I was a court reporter in El Monte Courthouse in Southern California, got my licence to carry mace — in those days you had to take a two-day class to carry mace. Why? That was the law, and I wanted protection in my courtroom, even though I had the greatest bailiff ever. My judge agreed that I could carry the mace inside the courtroom.
Then, my bailiff decided I should learn to shoot a handgun. He looked around for me, and we decided on the Taurus. I wanted to feel safe using a handgun.
Again in those days in California, you had to wait ten days before I could receive my gun. My bailiff taught me every aspect of that gun. In the end and at the ten-day period, I had taken apart that Taurus and put it back together blindfolded, including the magazine.
Then I joined a shooting club, combat type. I was slow, but very accurate.
I can walk into any gun store in Arizona and purchase any gun I choose, and I have chosen a few for decoration and some that are a bit too strong for my hands. I do not shoot those, but I have them. And I will use them if needed. To hell with my wrist and surgeries that ensued.
No one will take my guns from me! Well, because they can’t because of that boating accident way back when...LOL!
Great Read ,
Thanks!
