Deaf people claim that’s not a problem, and some have a device that will flash lights when a siren is activated. Also, how did the cars get damaged? Another article claims the deaf man’s car spun out of control to a stop, not pulling into his driveway.
SOME deaf people claim this is not a problem for THEM.
Also we definitely have a wild discrepancy in the stories — do not assume the truth is your favor.
