Spain's Problem With Major Accidents And The Truth

Spain has a problem with telling the truth about major accidents in the country, to the detriment of those Spanish citizens who are suddenly killed, maimed and left without their loved ones when they happen. Instead of properly recognising victims' needs and the opportunity to learn from tragedy to improve the Spanish system, the state prefers to sweep these things under the carpet and pretend they are not relevant or important. Such an attitude is both shameful and stupid.

I’d rather have the Spanish model then the nanny state model to protect every one from themselves here.

That’s not really the issue here. All these incidents (in the article) are about major transportation disasters, of course the gov’t is going to be involved with those. They would be here too.

And the more culturally dominant influence in Latin America (sans Bolivia) is? Sorry, I’ve had to deal with far too many “Hispanics” who are overextended on EU passports issued by...Spain.
