TRUNEWS has learned through several media sources that nuclear missiles that are housed at the Incirlik Air Base in Ankara, Turkey, may be in the process of being moved from there to a base in Romania.
Two independent sources told EurActiv.com that the US has started transferring nuclear weapons stationed in Turkey to Romania, against the background of worsening relations between Washington and Ankara.According to one of the sources, the transfer has been very challenging in technical and political terms.
Its not easy to move 20+ nukes, said the source, on conditions of anonymity.
According to a recent report by the Simson Center, since the Cold War, some 50 US tactical nuclear weapons have been stationed at Turkeys Incirlik air base, approximately 100 kilometres from the Syrian border.

What could go wrong?
Romania....how secure is that place?
Just slightly more secure than Turkey at present - I suppose. But then I suppose this move is a slap to Russia’s face as well.
This would not be happening if McLame were in the WH.
Moved like that hellfire missile that wound up in Cuba?
Better in Romania than where that Erdogan fellow is in charge.
And who knows? There could be all kinds of other reasons as well. Attack, etc.
Why is this being broadcast to the general public. I would imagine all our enemies know that .. but if they didn’t .. THEY DO NOW ..!!!
HOW STUPID ARE WE ..??
It's pretty easy.
Screw Turkey. Start process to remove from NATO.
Sure makes us look stupid. Obama said “democratically elected” Erdogan was our new BFF.
They could accidentally drop one on Ankara on their way out!.........
These rumors have yet to come from a good source. Until they do, this story is a non-story.
Yeah, and it’s not THAT close, either.
Incirk is ~3mi east of Adana; a scant 110mi from Aleppo. You’ve got to fly ~40 miles SW towards Crete to get out over the Med, then way hell ‘n’ gone around al-robinhood’s minarets... Granting permission to cut across Greek and Bulgarian airspace, it’s still over 1,100 miles to Bucharest.
Cutting across Turkish airspace cuts the trip to about 700 miles, but ups the pucker factor considerably given the recent tensions.
If there are 60 some there, and they are moving 20, does that mean that Washington is only giving about 40 to the Islamic militants?
ISIS will probably manage to get ahold of these. LOL The O’Clinton admin and the Uniparty are itchin’ to start a hot war with Russia one of these days.
This will probably be seen as a provocation.
My hope is that it was actually done a couple weeks ago.
No kiddin' - I can only get 3 loaded in the back of my pickup truck.
Thanks for telling everybody, twuenews. Got a map of the intended route?
