They do have the led. What the muzzie mayor is doing is to increase the number of jackboots on the ground to suppress free speech.
There’s a difference in having certain laws on the books and occasionally making an example of someone in order to suppress disliked speech. It’s another thing to devote over 2 million dollars to seek out thought criminals within a single city. This is a major ramping up of the police state in London.
The United Kingdom already has law enforcement which has the functionality of reviewing complaints over hate crimes. What the London Mayor is attempting to do....is create his own force....who would report to him....and thus make it a London law enforcement tool only. If you resided outside of the city....say in Wales....and their judge didn’t care to hear the charges...then London would drag the poor sap down into their “hell-hole” for charges there.
This is simply another sign why the UK needs to have one simple system for the general public....and not invent all kinds of EU-functionality to drag people into some mess.
