I would not want to be a small guy, or guy and his wife, waking up to confront those two with my bare hands. When they are alert and prepared, and they have a chance to choose their target, they are just about guaranteed to win.

There should be some easy way to level the playing field so that even a smaller, weaker person would be at no disadvantage against those two thugs. God created us. I'm sure He would have created a way for us to defend ourselves . . . or delegated that job to one of His people.

And what does "a.m." stand for anyway? I thought the style book said 6 am.
