One man has been arrested and Philadelphia police are asking the public for help in finding a second man suspected of preying on Asian business owners in a series of home invasions and robberies, including assaulting a 10-year-old girl. --snip-- Between May 3 and Aug. 8, the two men allegedly robbed at least 13 Asian-owned businesses, often making a forced entry through the storefront between 4 and 6 a.m. In eight cases, the robbers then gained entry into the homes upstairs. Once inside, the residents were bound, threatened, and sometimes physicially assaulted.

as the number of Asian immigrants has increased word has gotten out in the black community that they are easy marks and the authorities don’t see premeditated violence against them as containing any ethnic motivation at all.
at schools when black kids are singled out, the school administration goes into overdrive.
but when Asians students are bullied the school administrators simply roll their eyes:
“just suck it up like you know you are supposed to and quit bothering us”

Triads are not as prevalent as you might think. Sadly, most Asians have accepted the idea (more than most native-born Americans I find) that America is a safe society, with the rule of law, where police will pursue all crimes equally and all are treated equally
The ones who have been here a bit longer know that certain races will be given a lot of leeway.

Not a surprise. Today we live in a tribal society where justice is dispensed based on your membership in a particular tribe. If Asians want better treatment they need to get into positions of power. As far as current Philadelphia school board leadership:

Asians lean DemoRat as voters but I think more of them may vote for Trump this election.
