Gun sales in California are on pace to break records — perhaps even to reach 1 million sales by the end of calendar year 2016, according to Southern California Public Radio station KPCC.

There were 554,203 guns sold “through late July,” which puts last year’s annual sales figure of approximately 890,000 well within reach.

Gee, didn’t know you could buy a gun in Kali? How many hoops do they have to go thru to get one?

Isn’t that something both Governor Moonbeam and The One should be proud of?

Gunmageddon has guaranteed a record year for firearm sales in California.

Further, compliance with the registration part of the new laws will be quite low.

A lot of hoops but that is not stopping Californians from buying guns. Just had three retail gun stores open up in an eight mile radius in Orange County within the past few months.

Good to hear this. I know someone who bought a riffle in cali over 15 years ago. Had to go thru hoops then. Cannot imagine what they do now.

I am in Los Angeles and have owned guns for years.

Several gun shops within the neighborhood .... several ranges, But, better yet, great canyons and desert areas for target shooting. Many gun clubs and almost everyone I now owns guns.

Easy, yes, we have swap meet sales and you just go into a store and buy one.

I know I am guilty of that. If a gun or mag is legal for sale in CA, I avoid it like the plague.

40 round Pmags, 50 round PS90 mags, and 33 round Glock mags for me thank you.

“I wouldn’t want to own most Guns legal for sale in 2016 California.”

Mini-14 for CA is largely unmodified. I can use a 20 and 30 round magazine once I leave the state.

I included the word “most” because I knew someone from CA would give some example that would attempt to defend CA’S crazy gun laws. I never expected that defense to include, “...once I leave the state.” I can walk out my front door and choose whether I want to use my 60 rd, 90 rd, or 100 rd drum magazine on my my ARs, none of which have bullet buttons.
