One thing that is without question, Obama has overseen far more US military deaths in Afghanistan than Bush did.

Well he did ramp up the war significantly in Afghanistan. Bush’s intent there was to just go after the Taliban and had cooled down the fighting there because he was concentrating on Iraq.

Just double checked. GWB did go into Afghanistan after 911, supposedly to get BinLaden. That didn't happen, and that war wasn't real active since GWB decided that destabilizing Iraq would be more fun (or whatever). Obama actually campaigned on Afghanistan being the war we should be fighting and shifting gears to a more vigorous attempt there. He got Bin Laden, so one has to wonder what further incentive there is to stay in that cesspool. It would make more sense to lock the maniacs in that country than try to change them.
If I remember correctly, hillary was always a big advocate of that escapade, wanting to teach Afghani girls how to read or whatever.
Wouldn't be surprising if there isn't some pipeline access and natural resources involved in that adventure.
Summary....we were already in Afghanistan, but the involvement was cutting back. Then, along came Obama! What they (Obama and hillary) can't explain is why we stayed after BinLaden was killed.

She misspoke. She made her point poorly. The guy didn’t really give her a chance to explain. We’ll have to wait for her to clarify. Maybe she already has.
I LIKE her. She is very good, usually.

Well, even so, I trust my memory more than either of them. You cannot say Obama “invaded” and country when we well know that we invaded it in 2001. Obama stayed, but he did not invade. She is a very bad spoke-person, she is illiterate on the subject.

The media is going BONKERS over this, like it was important or something.
She should clarify and say that she obviously misspoke.
No big deal.

Note the “editing error” by the Huffington Post. The article first said that the Obama regime began in 2008 and later corrected that to 2009.
