The plaintiffs, most of whom are unnamed in court documents, are due for deportation but are appealing to the courts for permission to stay. This is also the Republican party stacking the deck against Trump to get more voters for the Democrat party and turn the state blue so that the elected Republicans can go back to being Democrats in name and actions.
Time to impeach Gov. Rotten Deal.
Kingston was the establishment candidate and lost to Perdue in 2014. That gave the establishment concern.
But in 2015-16 the anti-establishment types in GA sat on their hands. There was no organized effort to advance either anti-establishment Cruz or Trump. Complainers who agreed with Braun, with Crane, etal did not lift a finger to do anything beyond complain.
So the GA establishment is back to not taking threats from Conservatives seriously. It should be noted that Deal, Kemp, Ralston are neither R nor D. They are self-serving opportunists. They would go hard conservative if they thought it would advance them personally. But they have seen that so far, complainers don’t get away from their keyboards to go beyond complaining.
I have had issues with Braun and confronted him in 2014 at a Dacula town hall meeting that was captured by CNN.
I do my best to get my voice heard by my elected officials, but I am just one person.
I would love to see the people out at the overpasses making their voices heard again.
Kroger had a bunch of American flags on sale this morning and I grabbed 3 or 4 of them for less than $5 each.

Deal is a former Democrat, fwiw. He also vetoed a bill passed by the legislature that would have allowed concealed carry on college campuses. Creation, or in this case maintenance, of gun free victim zones is just bad policy.
The last time I had to RENEW my drivers license - right here in the Georgia county where I was born and raised, and lived my life - I had to produce my old DL, my birth certificate, and proof of address.

I did too. Georgia is a participating state in the REAL ID campaign which sets tighter controls on determine who actually IS who with IDs, particularly licenses.
It actually was the new Federal requirements that drove what you and I had to provide (actually more if you think about it). So, in that regard, I don’t mind the extra caution. What I don’t think these illegals will get is a REAL ID stamped DL, however because they couldn’t amass what it takes to meet the requirements.
[BTW, I was inducted in Georgia 1968 and qualified for the veteran’s license which bears NO costs - ever. Great money saver, and now Veterans are identified on the DLs with an American Flag in the upper right corner (it actually got me out of a ticket once) - easy to spot than the word “veteran” in small red type at the bottom....]
Republicans... they’re good for nothing.
Here in Delaware the Democrats enabled illegal aliens to get licenses to drive rather than tossing them out. Even had a Dem politician, who may be running for Congress in Nov, who introduced a bill to make Delaware a ‘Sanctuary State’. Both sides are pandering hard for the 20 million potential votes out there.
For any Freepers not from Georgia know this. Gov Nathan Deal is a Democrat who runs as a Republican because its easier to get elected here in a redstate. He has jammed common core down our throats and helped weaken our new gun law before it went to final passage. He cannot be gone soon enough.
I can sympathize. We have a Country-Club leftist RINO Governor here in Tennessee. Fortunately, with a GOP supermajority in the legislature, they keep him from some of his nuttier tendencies (but not all).
What the heck happened to Deal? He used to be a good ‘ol boy.
The same thing that happens to many people in office too long, they get assimilated into the leftist hive and become the enemy. He’s been in office with only a short interruption for 46 years.

No Deal used to be a Democrat but switched to Reublican because its easier to get elected in GA as a Republican. He talks a good game at election time then goes full RINO.
