The ENTIRE IRS needs to be shut down, all of its employees audited and then fired, and the whole agency either eliminated, or knocked down and built back up from scratch.

Abolishing the IRS is the simplest solution, even if you needa new tax collection organization.

When JFK came into office, he noticed that the Bureau of the Budget was loaded with Republican civil servants, so he abolished it and established the Office of Management and Budget, which he then stocked with Democrats.

Unless there personal consequences to governmental officials - fines and jail terms - it won’t matter. Even if the IRS loses, it will just promise to change procedures and, maybe, there will be payment to the injured parties. But that payment will be from taxpayer funds and after years of litigation. Judges need to start jailing defiant Democrat officials to have any real impact.

There should be a public board to oversee every government bureaucracy.

It won’t end until the ‘career’ Democrat plants there get shuffled off to Alaska or somewhere.

They ALL need to be fired.

Has Jesse Jackson's "Rainbow Push" ever been audited by the IRS?

Are contributions to it deductible?

What happened to that .. is this just another promise the Repubs in Congress have FAILED TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON ..??

AND THEY WANT TO GET RID OF TRUMP ..?? SEEMS TO ME THEY SHOULD BE GETTING RID OF THEMSELVES IF THEY ARE UNWILLING TO DO THEIR JOBS.

There should be a public board to oversee every government bureaucracy.

IMO, bad idea. More government. And that board would be politicized and compromised.

OMB and CBO are Uniparty now. Both support larger, more intrusive government!

They are NEVER right — they OVERESTIMATE government revenue when taxes are raised and UNDERESTIMATE government revenue when taxes are lowered.

What are we waiting for?

Article after article lays out IRS abuses, corruption and downright ineptness, and we still don’t change the system?

Or imprison the Bad Guy ‘n Gals?

What are we thinking?

It is patently obvious that the USA needs to replace the income tax with the FairTax and abolish the IRS!

You can help! Go to https://www.fairtax.org to find out how.

Let’s see if that’s a reasonable standard for criminal conduct. Shall we throw out a court case against a bank robber, who has promised to rob no more banks? Shall we throw out the court case of a serial killer, who has promised to kill no one else?
