Gee, it’s mostly Democrats OR Republicans turned Democrats running against other Democrats. I guess the inhabitants of the state must think it’s in great shape! I LOVE California, but am glad we no longer live there. I miss the activities we enjoyed there, but always hated the politics. And it has gotten much worse since we left. My husband’s company was one of the companies that fled California in the late 2000’s.

State is so dysfunction that it allows 2 Dem against each other in national election in Nov. Corruption does give politician upper hand to grasp power.

This is the result of a "campaign reform" initiative passed by the voters in 2010. As a result, the race for California's Senate seat is between two Democrats with no write-in votes being counted. Many Republicans told me that they are voting for the more "moderate" Democrat, but I'm through with this "lesser of two evils" garbage and will not be voting in the Senate race.
