Rolling Stone: GOP Turns Into The "Workers Party"
Breitbart.com ^ | August 9, 2016 | Breitbart News

Matt Taibbi writes in Rolling Stone magazine that the Democrats’ embrace of globalist neoliberal policies – in particular Bill Clinton’s signing of NAFTA – have provided an opening for Republican nominee Donald Trump to refashion the GOP as the party fighting for the “rational self-interest” of American workers whose wages have stagnated from decades of globalist trade policies.

Except today the working man has fallen out of favor unfortunately.

Its all welfare all the time now.

Its going to be all about turnout.

That’s right. American workers. God-fearing, red-blooded, American capitalist workers doing productive, profit-making work to feed their families per our Judeo-Christian heritage.

Yep. Don’t underestimate how this will continue to help drive a new paradigm with a material slice of Bernie voters.

Your quote + a bit: “That’s right. American workers. God-fearing, red-blooded, American capitalist workers doing productive, profit-making work to feed their families [and all the handout seeking misfits riding on welfare] per our Judeo-Christian heritage.”

I hate to agree with Rolling Stone but the two parties have absolutely flipped. The country club elites of the old GOP are now the Lear Jet Liberals. Those who work in the old middle class are now the working man of the GOP

If those fifty despised neocons announce their support for hillary, Sanders supporters will have been (1) cheated out of a reasonable chance in the primaries, (2) rounded up and led to slaughter by Sanders and (3) abandoned by hillary in favor of the pols they despise.

They'll have three choices, and one of them isn't hillary!

We’ve got to take out both wings of the Uniparty one at time. The GOPe is the low-hanging fruit.

Many Dems will vote for Donald Trump and keep it to themselves. That will include many union rank and file and other blue collar people and many blacks and hispanics. The great majority of LEO’s will certainly go Trump.

I agree with the premise, but object to the term ‘Worker’s Party’ :

Nah. Need a blow torch? Trump will win this election, no doubt in my mind.

I would include small businesses as well. The Democrats are the party of big business, government, and the unemployed.

“Those who work in the old middle class are now the working man of the GOP”

Indeed, because if you aren’t middle class, you are probably on several welfare programs just to survive. A lot of “middle class” wages are basically working class wages now after decades of wage stagnation, and Fed-induced dilution of our money.

Direct to Taibbi’s article. A good read.

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/features/a-republican-workers-party-w433295

“But expecting American politicians to advocate first and foremost for their own constituents isn’t isolationism. It’s just rational self-interest, which neoliberals only seem to disbelieve in when it pertains to labor. Moreover we didn’t call movements to disinvest from South Africa or the Soviet Union “nativism.” We called that idealism.”

‘GOP Turns Into The “Workers Party”

Nobody else represents America first. Who will pick up the mantle after Trump is slandered away. Think, if he didn’t have the money, his issues would never surface. He is getting the Buchanan treatment. Pat kept alive from his books. Sanders made a big splash with the same trade issues. Combined Sanders and Trump own the people majority.

Poor America you know they love you from the pin they put on their suit. Ha Ha
