There is a repeated theme in the arguments made by “NeverTrump,” those Republicans who have sworn not to vote for the party’s nominee, Donald Trump. That theme is: “I, me, mine.”
Consider the arguments made by Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) in Tuesday’s Washington Post. She does not compare Trump to Hillary Clinton. She does not discuss his policies. Instead, she offers an extensive internal monologue: “This is not a decision I make lightly”; “I had hoped”; “I have thought long and hard."

I agree. To “stand on one’s principles” by doing something that will only help elect Hillary, who is completely opposed to every principle they hold, is insane.
I should amend my statement by saying, “...unless their stated principles are a lie and they are actually just motivated by a desire to maintain the status quo.” Entirely possible.

False outrage. Well, my outrage is not manufactured, and I will vote for the DEM if that is what it takes to defeat Collins, no matter what she runs for. I'd rather see the country burn down under the weight of #BLM than support her. Same goes for the rest of the "party unity on my terms" GOP shysters.
I called Collins office today, pleasant voice, told them to report a constituent who was very pleased that she spoke her mind.

I see these #nevertrumps all over facebook. Some are the “holier than thou” types, some still suffer from butt hurt of Cruz being attacked by Trump, and then there are some who think they are smarter than everyone else in the room. The last type want to hold out and watch Trump lose so they then can blow their own trumpet declaring how smart they are for never endorsing him.
But most #nevertrumpers are a combination of all three.
Well the #nevertrumpers won’t be laughing when we leave their stupid party.

And your thinking has given us the Collins, McCains, Grahams, McConnells, Ryans et al who are RHINOs who have done nothing but give in to the media and democrats. Why do you think they are any better than democrats, the end result is the same, except that at least with a Dem, we know who the enemy is. And where do you get your 98% number and 50% number?
