The Minneapolis Police Department has announced four policy changes aimed at defusing conflicts between officers and the public that can turn deadly.
Chief Janee Harteau (lesbian) said Monday the "sanctity of life" is the cornerstone of her department's use-of-force policy. She says officers should use de-escalation tactics whenever reasonably possible, while slowing down situations to reduce the risk of injury to officers and the public.
The changes also give officers a duty to intervene to prevent others from using force improperly and a duty to report misconduct.

The ex-Fire Chief got canned because it was discovered that she was denying promotions to female fire fighters that wouldn’t sleep with her.
What she said makes little sense... At least to me.

To me thats bs. If you give them 20 or 30 feet theyll take it. Oppress them and shut them down. Don’t display weakness by pandering to them. They are there to cause mayhem under the cover of some self deemed meritorious outcry.
I fear for Cops lives in Minneapolis, based on this PC crap.

I agree. Most of the officers there probably do also. Hopefully they don’t have to test her new policies.
I hope they also firmly tie these policies to her so if someone gets hurt she’s done. Maybe she’ll put her body where her mouth is and stand the line with the officers she’s forcing to follow her policies.

Telling cops they should back down is the first step to making going to dangerous calls optional.
MPLS Cops will respond to all calls. Then, they will step back, as ordered and then be shot and killed by empowered thugs.
Or be indicted by the DOJ if they don’t. Especially under the BLM pandering of Jailery if she becomes POTUS.
You said it........now more than ever we need a POTUS that is the LAW & ORDER candidate. Minneapolis may as well disband the police department because this insanity is going to get officers killed or maimed!........grrrrr
