A young man was killed by a shotgun blast near a Raleigh home Sunday morning and the homeowner where the shooting happened has been charged with murder, Raleigh police said.

[SNIP] During a 911 call at 12:57 a.m., the caller said that he fired a shot while several people were outside his home and they had guns.

“We have a house.. we have a lot of people outside of our house yelling and shouting obscenities. I yelled at them ‘please leave the premises.’ They were showing firearms, so I fired a warning shot and we got someone that got hit,” the 911 caller said.

“I don’t know if they are shot, I fired my warning shot like I am supposed to by law. They do have firearms and I am trying to protect myself and family,” the 911 caller said. “I don’t know who they are…There is a park right down the road.”

“Please send PD! …(inaudible) males outside my (inaudible) house with firearms.. Please send PD!” the 911 caller said and the call then ended.

About 7 minutes before that call about the shooting, another caller who claimed he was with the neighborhood watch complained about people on Singleleaf, requested police and said he was going to “secure the neighborhood.”

Another aspiring rapper bites the dust. Another decent citizen in trouble.

The federal government has been cultivating feral humans like weeds for the past 50 years, so it isn’t surprising that things like this happen.

Too bad he didn’t kill them all.

This is probably why the homeowner was charged with a crime. This event right here doesn’t pass the smell test.

Without that call, the homeowner would have been brought in for questioning but likely not been charged. Now they need to hold on to people while they get to the bottom of this strange phone call.

Obama, “...and we bring a gun...”

No one can convince me this guy is a Christian and not a follower of Islam.

I’ll serve on his jury. Better tried by twelve than carried by six.

I fired my warning shot like I am supposed to by law.

There is no such law in Georgia. I doubt there is one in his. Few warning shots are fired horizontally. That fellow was correctly charged.

He broke the rules: Never talk to the cops. He sealed his own fate when he said “I fired a warning shot” and someone died. The prosecutor will tell the jury, “See, in his own words, the situation wasn’t dangerous enough to use lawful deadly physical force. He fired a gun and killed this aspiring rapper (who was a good boy and turning his life around). Your Honor, I ask for maximum sentence for justice”!

Another example of bad faith and no common sense by gov.

Man makes effort to call police and EMT, directly tells them he fired, and HE gets criminal charges.

From the article...

“We got a bunch of hoodlums out here racing… I am locked and loaded and I am going outside to secure my neighborhood. You need to send PD as quickly as possible. I am going to secure my neighborhood. I am on the neighborhood watch. I am going to have my neighbors with me,” the caller said at 12:50 a.m.

This dude's mouth is buying him some real trouble.

A good boy who was turning his life around. He was an aspiring rapper and wanted to join the NFL.

“He broke the rules: Never talk to the cops”

Yup. I rarely say hi to cops. If I say something it would be “the donut shop is that way”.

I fired a warning shot as required by law...

Haven’t seen that law. In a situation like that, you don’t fire until you intend to kill in self defense.

Firing a shot that can kill, is not a warning shot.

This guy may not be his own best defender...

Just because he called it in doesn’t mean the shooting is clean. It’s looking very messed up. There’s no indication they were a direct threat, he said he fired a warning shot yet somebody got hit, he declared he was heading out to secure the neighborhood which would not be his job and reinforces that he wasn’t in direct danger. He should face charges, then we’ll see how it plays out.

"I am on the neighborhood watch."

Yep. Neighborhood WATCH, not neighborhood QRF (quick reaction force).

Its like when my neighbors see me with my ham radio and binos looking up at a thunderstorm. They ask me, "Are you a storm chaser"?

My reply: "Hell no, I'm a trained storm SPOTTER. Those chasers are adrenaline junkies, and by the way, we are 100 IQ points smarter than those guys".

The aspiring rapper looks like he had something more than a cup of coffee that day.

The good news is, although he’s dead, he’ll still be able to vote for the sickly and delusional Clintoon.
