The “Never Trumpers” are all un-American traitors, nothing else.
if they don’t support Trump, vote their conscience means
* You prefer Hillary and everything she comes with (judges)
* You don’t respect republican voters
* You’re willing to harm the republican party to get Hillary
—— get rid of many voters and lower the enthusiasm of others for many years.
—— prove to voters that you aren’t representing us but using us. You want our support for your choices (McCain, Romney) but you won’t support us on our choice.
They try to rationalize it lots of ways. Like, “Trump didn’t get the majority of votes”. But HE WON by the rules and now they want the party to lose.
Let me first say that I am not a “Never Trumper.” I am voting for Trump in the general election.
That said, I do know some “Never Trumpers,” including my wife.
To say that “Never Trumpers” are “Bergdahl Democrats,” or RINOs, or whatnot, is just not honest. Some “Never Trumpers” just don’t trust Trump, or consider him too “fast and loose,” or even too liberal/progressive.
Let’s not dismiss “Never Trumpers” with simplistic mischaracterizations, like they’re democrats or RINOs or whatever.
If we want to win with Trump, we need to stop demeaning other Republicans. We want them to vote *for* Trump. And so we need to win them over with patience and with facts and with grace.
#NeverHillary #GoTrump
You missed the point of my writing. It’s not dishonest, as you suggest. We have the worst that can happen nearing the presidency and you’re playing pitiful word games.
Your war is here. Either fight or desert the cause.
I believe the never-trumpers are a bunch of self-absorbed people who refuse to see the giant steamroller approaching their hammock.
How can anybody, in their wildest acid trips, imagine that Trump is Hillary’s equal or worse?
Many are hostile to Trump because he directly undermines their meal ticket.
Others are hostile because they haven’t adapted and are incapable of adapting. There’s not much you can say to someone hanging on to the failed GOP 1988 playbook. It’s strange.
Never Trumpers are Pro Uniparty. And Hillary is the Uniparty Candidate.
The perfumed princes and princesses of the conservative pundit class and office holder crowds have never been “real world” conservatives. Our patronage has allowed them to live in their “castles in the air” where checklists defined conservatism and selling out the common man is fair game as long as the boxes on the checklist have been checked. We should not rest until every Never Trump type is unemployed and out of office.
Good points. Most of the Bergdahl Democrats I know are scorned Cruz backers. Despite my being a big fan of Cruz, I never believed he had the energy and power to gain the votes necessary. But his backers think the opposite, despite his failure to gain the nomination, even with Fiorina on his ticket.
That was a move of desperation. it failed. Get over it.
Uniparty - - interesting and quite valid.
You mean the politicians?
I like most of the substance of what Ted Cruz says, but he’s severely handicapped by a terrible presentation. He comes across almost like a parody of what white liberals imagine a white, out of touch, obnoxious conservative would be.
In better times (like 1972), a guy like Cruz could have moved to a friendly congressional district, read the script, and had a nice 30 or 40 year career in Congress, without accomplishing much of anything.
It’s telling that his act isn’t even playing well with most Republicans and most conservatives these days.
You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.
“... pitiful word games.”
Ah, whatever.
To say, “Never Trump” is the same as saying, “Anybody BUT Trump”. Does anyone in their right mind really mean that? That’s insane!
To say “Never Trump” is to say “Always Hillary”.
Help Hillary or Trump. That’s the choice.
Is your WIFE voting for Mr. Trump..your premise is incorrect, your Conclusion is Invalid.
quote “had a nice 30 or 40 year career in Congress”,And THAT my Friend is the PROBLEM, That is why the Trump phenomenon.
