Evan McMullin, a former CIA counterterrorism operative, will run for president as a third-party conservative alternative to Donald Trump, the group backing the candidate told ABC News today.
The group, Better for America, has been working for months on trying to select a candidate and get on ballots throughout the country. In some states, like Texas, they will likely have to sue to get on the ballot. It's an extreme uphill climb, but they are confident McMullin, 40, can act as a disruptor who they hope can peel off some red states in a race where some Republicans are still resistant to Donald Trump.
McMullins candidacy, backed by some Republicans, shows how the Never Trump movement is still working to upend Trump even with less than three months left until the general election. McMullin may be a long shot, but will have a legitimate organization behind him.

Any bets on how much money Soros is donating to him for this run?
Another epic fail.
So this is who Bill Kristol came up with after his exhaustive nationwide search for the “real” conservative candidate for president?
The situation is dire enough now that the CIA is stepping right out into the open.
As inane talk of a conservative run against @realDonaldTrump returns @stevechaggaris reminds: ballot access gone in 27 states, 35 by Friday
No kidding! All Trump needs to do is tweet that the guy was an investment banker/Wall St insider - the kiss of death!
His first step needs to be taking a long walk off a short pier.
I’m pretty sure he’s a specific type spoiler. Utah only has 6 EVs, but a Mormon with a specific crusade—especially if Mittens pleads his case—could deny them to Trump. Requirements for Utah are below. I haven’t researched any other states with large Mormon populations:
An independent presidential candidate can get on the general election ballot by filing a petition with the lieutenant governor no later than August 15 in the election year. The candidate must also pay a $500 filing fee. The petition must contain the signatures of 1,000 registered voters.[20]
HIGHLIGHTS
An independent presidential candidate in 2016 would need to collect 1,000 signatures in Utah in order to get on the ballot.[21]
CIA=George Herbert Walker Bush; William Jefferson Clinton...
connect the dots...
What legitimate organization, CIA? Even their premise reveals who they are and what they want, stating plainly the goal is just to draw off votes from Trump and deliver it to? That’s right: Hillary Clinton. So, to sum up, a CIA operative in a false flag operation to attempt to derail the populist, popular, nationalist candidate and try to deliver victory to the profoundly corrupt and incompetent globalist one. May their plans turn on them quickly.
2+2= NO SALE.
Ugh!! Nooooo way!
You read my mind in posting the cut and paste from Wiki....Utah, Goldman Sachs.....’nuff said.....
from another article:
” He has also worked at Goldman Sachs, as a volunteer refugee resettlement officer for the United Nations

This is ALL about the GOP sacred cow of open borders and BAD trade like TPP! This guy will bring in ALL the jihadi refugees, just like HILLARY.
All those years of good republicans defending their party, only to find out there IS NOT DIFFERENCE between the two!
He’s too late for Nevada, but he has till August 15th for Utah.
“Better for America” is the phrase that Paul Ryan has been using. Check it out.
Ok. I’ve always defended the Mormons, but this BS is over the line. This is just another Glenn Beck, Romney bunch of crappola.
He still has until August 15th for Utah. (Plus 1000 signatures on petition and $500.)
If there is a chance they can tip the election to the Democrats by introducing a third party candidate, that is the preferred outcome to having Trump win the presidency. That way, the establishment is able to stay in power.
This is similar to 1980, where John Anderson was presented by establishment Republicans as a third party alternative to Reagan.
I'm not talking the country singer John Anderson but the white-haired politician John Anderson.
Mainstream media went all-in on the ruse, elevating John Anderson to the status of major contender. Check out the cover page of TV Guide the week of the election! They gave Anderson much prominence.
