NICE (FRANCE) (AFP) – The European road cycling championships, which were due to be held in Nice from September 14 to 18, have been cancelled for security reasons, the French city’s mayor confirmed on Friday. The announcement came just three weeks after the Bastille Day truck attack in Nice which claimed 85 lives and injured more than 300.
Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, a 31-year-old Tunisian who drove a truck into revellers watching a fireworks display on the city’s Promenade des Anglais, was shot dead by police. “Given that it was an event that would have required a large police presence, and that we have not received any guarantees about their deployment, the cycling championships that Nice was due to hold in France’s name are cancelled,” mayor Philippe Pradal said at a press conference.

Tell me again that ISIS is contained and that Islam is not evil. Cancelling an event (a bike ride in this case) because of a suspected terrorist attack (actual or not) shows that the 2nd century animals have all but taken over the world and can/will shut down all such activities as they see fit. We live in a dangerous world now and as I see it, the terrorists ARE INDEED WINNING the war of terror. Do we hide in fear or stare terrorism directly in the face by going forward? Time for the entire world to step up to the plate, join a common force and defeat those bastards once a for wall. The new “resistance forces” can start right in DC as there are high level “supporters” residing there that are denying Islamic terrorists even exist.
The problem in France is they have thousands, if not millions, of muslims who would gladly fight a civil war in France. The French really are stuck. Even if they never brought another muslim in, they have enough home-grown, of North African descent to destroy the nation as it is. I am talking of people whose families have been there for decades. There is no easy or “pretty” answer. They passed the point of no return years ago.
Earlier this year they held the Tour de France which covers
over 2,193 miles around the country .

The “point of no return” is when all Patriots are dead. Only time will tell if countries are at that point.
