Palin doubles down on Ryan snub despite Trump endorsement

Washington (CNN)Sarah Palin reiterated her support for Paul Ryan's primary challenger Friday night immediately after her political ally, Donald Trump, endorsed the House speaker.

Trump on Friday evening said in Wisconsin that he would back Ryan in his Republican primary against Paul Nehlen, a little-known challenger. That announcement was a reversal from earlier in the week, when the presidential nominee declined to endorse the speaker.

Minutes after Trump announced his support during a rally in Ryan's home state, Palin wrote on Facebook that she was "proud to be standing with Paul Nehlen since May 9th."

"Wisconsin, please vote for this man 'of the people' this Tuesday!" she wrote.

“The way I see it, he gave up a few worthless endorsements, nothing more.”

Still, there’s a very good chance Ryan, McCain, and Ayotte will lose their primaries. Their opponents, when in office, will recall that Trump didn’t stick to his principles and endorsed the wrong candidates. They may not be eager to support Trump because of it. I’d rather have them on our side than known traitors.

I’m with Palin. Trump may have endorsed Ryan as a politically expediant move, but that doesn’t mean I have to follow. Paul Ryan is a traitor who needs to be removed from office. Period.

Hmmm, if Trump and Palin had a “feud” in the press whose side would the press take?

Takes away the media narrative that “ Trump refused to,endorse Ryan/McCain/Ayotte”

Now they have to go make up another scandal smear or distortion to try to steer the news away from hillary

if these RINO hosers lose it won’t be because “trump, didn’t endorse them”
If they win, well trump endorsed them and has to work with them next term
So we got the house speaker the war hero and the woman - endorsed

It’s really not trumps job to take them on right now in this bitter struggle against the corrupt democrat machine and totally corrupt propagandist media- industrial complex. If the people of their districts don’t stand up and do the job don’t blame Trump

Meanwhile it frees Trump to pursue Hillary’s unfitness to lead as his laser focus instead of swatting gnats about “ endorsements”

90 days to go folks

Nehlen’s response was the classiest political statement of this entire campaign cycle

Trump needs to fram party and national unity in a language forbiding apologies from each other. Unfortunately he is being lead down that abusive language too easily there

The HuffPo is actively urging all Dems to vote for Nehlen in the primary and then vote for the Dem in the general.

This is a deal breaker with me.
I thought Mr. Trump had the guts to take these pigs on, but he folded.
With Mr. Ryan leading the House, and Mz Aylotte and Mr. McCain in the Senate, I doubt that any major reforms are passed or Conservatives confirmed onto the Supreme Court.
By endorsing these liberal and GOPe hacks, Mr. Trump has lost his base and gained nothing.
Sarah Palin is collateral damage. She has her base and is double poison for any other Republican and spotlighted as a political target by the Libs.

Can’t see the upside of DJT’s Ryan endorsement

It likely has something to do with RNC financing his General.

You keep spouting that line, but the truth is that Ryan will do all in his power to thwart Trump's agenda, which is the opposite of Ryan's agenda. They may both be in the same party, but Ryan is a globalist and Trump is a pro-American. For Trump to succeed Ryan must be defeated. If not at the polls, as speaker. If he is speaker, Trump will not get a vote on anything, and Ryan will hand out the goodies of chairmanships to all his globalist buddies. The press will use the discord between Ryan and Trump to make Trump appear to be the unhinged one in the White House, while Ryan is the adult.

No, you are wrong. There will be a knock down drag out between Ryan and Trump, not a necessary accord to govern. The question is when. If Ryan is going to win on Tuesday, Trump is smart to endorse and remove that as a campaign issue. The knock down drag out can wait until Trump wins and sweeps into DC and has the power of the office to persuade congressmen to be on his side, not the side of the globalists.

If Ryan was in trouble on Tuesday, then I would say stay out of the race. Just say you are doing what Ryan did, which was wait until the decision was made (and Ryan waited until the convention confirmed Trump as the winner to endorse), and then endorse the candidate chosen by the voters. But Trump probably concluded that Ryan was going to win, so better to be ahead of the curve.

We will just have to continue to disagree on this. Ryan might as well be Obama, and Trump will not be able to find a way to work with him. He will have to work with a majority of the caucus who may be willing to be pro-American once the globalist wing has been defeated. Ryan can go back to his Koch masters and find a new plot.

For the record, what is your definition of a GLOBALIST?

In the current context, it connotes support for TPP, NAFTA and free trade in which the other party can do all kinds of things that make free trade not really free. For example, free trade with Japan in which Japan has legal and market restrictions on American goods but the US lets their goods in unfettered. Free trade with countries that don't protect their labor force with minimal safety laws, so that American workers are at a disadvantage. Free trade with countries that, as Trump points out with China, manipulate their currency to give their goods an unfair advantage.

Free trade works in theory. We for the most part allow the free flow of goods into our country, but for it to work as the theory posits, our goods would have to flow the other way just as easily. Then the principles of comparative advantage might come into play. But instead, our industries and workers lose out, a few corporations make out and our country declines in overall wealth and well being.

Globalism is a desire to integrate the economies of the world more and more tightly until all countries are part of one big, centrally governed entity. Thus, you have regional economic integration at this stage, Europe, North America, the Pacific, Southeast Asia, the Russian federation. Later, these will be melded into one overarching organization.

Globalism is the desire to change the demographics of the country as it was founded from being white with a black minority, Christian, patriotic, under one common culture and language, into some kind of polyglot that includes not only benign but weaker links (Mexicans, other third worlders) but also malignant elements that will grow like a cancer (muslims). That will never work, it will only result in our destruction.

Paul Ryan favors all these things. He is a globalist. He is owned by the big globalists on wall street and the Chamber of Commerce, and he will do their bidding in fighting Trump to the death. The only way Trump can succeed in what he wants to do is if Paul Ryan is not controlling the House. That's pretty hard to accomplish with him as speaker. Even when the Republicans are with Trump, Ryan will get the Democrats and a minority of Republicans to pass what he wants to pass, and deny Trump the laws he wants to pass. Ryan is the key for the globalists to controlling and then destroying Trump.

That is an incredibly shallow and logically invalid observation.
I will not vote for Mz Clinton and I suggest you concentrate on converting her and Mr. Obamas supporters.

“This is a deal breaker with me.”

The inference of your idiotic statement is that you will now not vote for Trump. Not voting for Trump is in fact voting for Clinton.

Good bye......
