House Speaker Paul Ryan is facing an increasingly-publicized primary challenge from Paul Nehlen in Tuesdays Wisconsin Republican primary.
The race has drawn intrigue from the national media due to a perceived competitiveness, with sites like Breitbart News saying that Ryan is getting nervous about the race.

It’s all over,Ryan voters should stay home
Lib/Rinos trying to suppressing the vote? Where have I seen that before?
Jeff Kuhner (WRKO 680am Boston 12 to 3pm) said in the past hr. that it was breaking at a Wisc Rallye tonight Trump will endorse Ryan. I don’t know what to think of it....
Mark Belling is a local radio host who sometimes subs for Rush and has a lot of influence there.
He is a Cheap Labor Express propagandist.
He likes Ryan, of course.
He is doing the right thing to right the campaign. If Ryan loses he can gloat about it in private. Time to be presidential and show some polish.
Polls can be biased sure--but its hard to think a poll could be so biased that a 66 point lead does not lead to a blow out win.
The Nehlen voters tune out any news until after they exit the booth on Tuesday. Just put the blinders on and get there in unprecedented numbers.
And stay motivated!
REMEMBER BREXIT!!!!!
I really really hope that’s not true.
Gives me that same queasy feeling every time Sarah goes out there and endorses McQueeg.
Weird the polls could be so different. But Ryan most likely will win... we’ll see.
AMP Calypso has ranked the race
Poll Conducted 7-20 7-29
523 Actual Voters in Wisconsin District 1
Will Vote Paul Ryan: 41%
Will Vote Paul Nehlen: 46%
Undecided: 13%
Mr. Trump.
DO NOT ENDORSE RYAN.
Remember how much ObamaTRADE helped Oswald Cruz.
With Ryan as speaker, the establishment undoubtedly believes that it can withstand the chance of a Trump presidency, even as they work for a Hillary win. (They probably think they also need Ryan to withstand a Hillary win.) They know that Ryan will thwart Trump's efforts to build a wall, to stop Muslim immigration, to stop bad trade deals. RYAN WILL SUDDENLY LEARN ABOUT THE POWER OF THE PURSE, which he will use to keep Trump from being able to act on his own.
I would give anything for Nehlen to win, but it would take a miracle. Wisconsin, do your duty! If Ryan wins, the next, most important effort, after getting Trump elected, is for conservatives like those here to use Trump's victory as the grounds for removing Ryan as speaker and replacing him with someone that will work with the new President. A President needs the leaders of his own party to follow his LEAD and those that refuse to commit 100 percent have to go.
Has Ryan endorsed Trump yet? If he has can you send me the link, cause I can’t find it.
Another one not too long ago.
A poll of likely Republican voters shows House Speaker Paul Ryan well below 50 percent in his race to maintain his seat in Wisconsins first Congressional district.
The poll was conducted by P.M.I., with 424 respondents randomly called from a file of 11,000 likely GOP primary voters. It shows that with one month remaining before Wisconsins August 9th vote, Ryan is polling at 43 percent.
Ryans challenger, Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen, is polling at 32 percent.
The Nehlen campaign notes that Ryans 43 percent represents a drop of more than 30 points since the Nehlen campaign began polling likely Republican primary voters earlier in the year.
This poll shows voters are considering their options and choosing to opt out of Paul Ryans job-killing policies, Nehlen said.
Men should organize and vote and leave their liberal live-in girl friends at home.
I heard this today on FNC.
While what you say has merit, the fact is that to function as a government Ryan and Trump must work together.
An adversarial relation like many here desire will not be successful
I pray Nehlen wins and the HuffPo is telling Dems to vote Nehlen on Tues to unseat Ryno but its hard to get rid of incumbents.
