Since two violent attacks in Bavaria by Islamist fanatics Chancellor Angela Merkel has come under pressure for her open-door refugee policy. But most Germans see things differently.
A survey conducted by Forsa research group for Stern magazine showed that 69 percent of Germans do not agree that Merkel’s refugee policies had caused attacks in Würzburg and Ansbach last month.
Twenty-eight percent of respondents said that they did hold Merkel directly responsible for the attacks.
On July 18th, a 17-year-old Afghan refugee attacked a family from Hong Kong on a regional train near Würzburg with an axe before fleeing the train and being shot dead by police.
Investigators later found a homemade Isis flag in his bedroom and believe the attack to be Islamist motivated.

During Bush43, part 1, Der Spiegel or some other news site had a poll on something or another.
A link to the poll was posted here, and it must have been a slow news day in both Germany and the US, because poll results were not what the German publication wanted, and they traced the additional traffic back to the FR link.
At least they posted the results, with the FR link as the probable explanation as to why the poll results shocked their liberal media bias.
Merkel’s party in Germany is popular and is actually the more conservative leaning party of the major parties there. With that said she will likely lose the coming election.
And in 1945 zero percent of Germans knew that Hitler was committing genocide on a mass scale. Seems like the krauts like to hide their heads in the sand and pretend nothing bad is going on.
