EU demands Britain pays pensions of 1,730 Eurocrats in wake of Brexit vote

A bitter clash is looming over who will foot the bill for paying pensions owed to thousands of British Eurocrats when the UK leaves the EU.

Brussels has estimated its pensions liability at €60 billion (£50.7 billion) for all retired and current officials, with annual payments currently at about €1.4 billion (£1.2 billion).

Some 1,730 Britons currently make up almost 8 per cent of the 22,000 retired EU officials.

The UK insists it cannot be held responsible for Eurocrat pensions which, it says, are the responsibility of EU institutions.

It is believed that H.M. The Queen has been informed of the demands from the EU.

An average EU yearly salary is approximately €78,503, rising to about €91,064 if an employee can claim a tax free 16 per cent expatriate allowance. An estimated 70 per cent of EU staff do this.

Sounds like what is needed is to impose a "needs test" on these pensions. The socialists think the rich need to pay more taxes. Pensions based on this salary scale sound rather rich. They can retire in the Iberian Peninsula just before Brexit is finalized. I hear the cost of living is much cheaper there.

I believe the Brits have a term that is an appropriate response to the EU... "BUGGER OFF"!

Actually, it makes sense, provided they leave the EU employ with the Brexit.
But if they stay on, then the EU is responsible for their pensions.

Obviously, the EU is a globalist "Roach Motel" (or Hotel California...)!

Britain should ask the EU if the letters F.O. Mean anything to them.

Problem:

The E. U. Leadership liaisonsultimately leftist and Muslim mercenaries. All three factions want to destroy free republics and 10,000 years of development of perfect unions, independent citizens, and pursuit of happiness. This fight could get really nasty. WWIII.

Hillary is just fine with the Evil Three...she’s with them.....until it’s too late.
Only three leaders I know can resist and ultimately prevail over this cocktail of evil: Trump; Putin; Netanyahu.

Seems to slightly resemble Armageddon.

Anything the EU does, or proposes, is about enriching the Eurocrats. Britain will be a wealthier country because of Brexit.
