Yes, I’m all for checking voter IDs. Not checking them is bad.
Why not offer a free transportation voucher with photo ID good for the day of the election? Throw in a Happy Meal for early registration .

Nothing prevents them from being sold, stolen, or duplicated, but at least it’s one step further that a fraudster has to take.

Courts are erecting barriers to a sound voting system. Their poor judgement undermines the integrity of the voting system and enables corruption of elections. Each and every citizen has the right to a sound and secure voting system and courts have no right to deprive us of that. Claims that id’s are discriminatory are a canard, id’s are freely available to all citizens.
The island nation os St. Kitts Nevis makes ALL black citizens produce an ID to vote.
Whoever has influence with Zero Hedge - the title is terrrible. “The FEDS” e.g. the bureaucrats in the federal government or senior policy makers in the adminstration did nothing. The ruling was by a Federal appeals court - and the title should say so. Sometimes being accurate matters, like it does here. WE need to know who the enemy is precisely enough that we could target it.
Indeed, this was a ruling by the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, so if you blew up D.C. - please give me time to leave - you would not get the folks who did this.
If they steal this election again, I keep telling my family that all bets are off on a "peaceful" resolution of our fractured society and the restoration of our Republic. The descent into massive bloodshed and possible tyranny will begin quickly when all the avenues for honest change are blocked.
Today we figuratively stand at Lexington Green and Concord Bridge, awaiting the shackles of tyranny to fall upon us. It is that serious. There is no more "last stand" ground left after November 9th, IMHO, because if we fail the tsunami of tyranny will wash upon us at warp speed and power as the fascist victors move to destroy all meaningful peaceful opposition.

The Governor should make an official announcement that starts with "F*** You, you bastard Federal Judge."
He should then order state employees to place cameras at every voting location and record every single person who votes. The video could then be turned over to face recognition software to find examples of felons voting, of people voting more than once, and to provide an exact count of the numbers of voters in each precinct.
Methinks that when you force a recording of the proceedings, those intent on perpetrating vote fraud will suddenly get cold feet.
But the point needs to be made that this Judge should be told quite forcefully to "go F*** himself."
Anyone notice that the Democrat governor of Virginia told the courts to "go f*** themselves" after they ruled he couldn't do a mass restoration of felon's voting rights?
Why can't we have Governors that will show such audacity and determination? Why can't we have Governors that will bitch-slap courts?

After Indiana enacted an election law (SEA 483) requiring citizens voting in person to present government-issued photo identification, petitioners filed separate suits challenging the law’s constitutionality.
The SCOTUS upheld the law requiring photo ID.
Democrats, of course, want to be able to “vote early and often”.
Unless we’re talking about their convention this week where they required their own delegates to produce photo ID.
