No ID, No Problem - Feds Overrule North Carolina Voting Rules As "Discriminatory"
ZeroHedge.com ^ | 30 July 2016 | Tyler Durden

Hillary and the federal government are determined to ensure a "fair" and "open" election this November and will stop at nothing to reverse discrimination against "oppressed" segments of the American electorate, well at least if you live in a large swing state. This morning, the WSJ reported that the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia struck down North Carolina's voter ID law just days after we wrote about Virginia's similar effort to register 200,000 "oppressed" felons. The ruling asserts that North Carolina's law violated the Voting Rights Act by discriminating against low-income and minority voters, saying:

“In holding that the legislature did not enact the challenged provisions with discriminatory intent, the court seems to have missed the forest in carefully surveying the many trees. This failure of perspective led the court to ignore critical facts bearing on legislative intent, including the inextricable link between race and politics in North Carolina.”

“Although the new provisions target African Americans with almost surgical precision, they constitute inept remedies for the problems assertedly justifying them and, in fact, impose cures for problems that did not exist.”

Meanwhile, Dale Ho, director of the ACLU's Voting Rights Project, described the ruling as a "stinging rebuke of the state’s attempt to undermine African-American voter participation, which had surged over the last decade."

While we have no doubt that the intentions of Hillary and the various federal organizations involved in this process are "pure," we do wonder why we so often see greater efforts to "protect" the "oppressed" voters in larger swing states like Virginia and North Carolina but not so much in a small states like New Hampshire ...

If we listened to everything that is labelled as being discriminatory, you’d think blacks were helpless vegetables.

The Democrat judges are working over time to assure voter fraud will win the day for Hellery, just as Daley and LBJ pushed JKL to victory with thousands of fraudulent votes in Cook Co., IL and South TX. That’s how Democrats win close elections. If Trump doesn’t have an answer, he will lose. Nixon was a fool for not filing suit over the blatant fraud in his loss.

Judges should only have the power to send it back to whoever passed the Law for a second look

How about discrimination against legitimate voters by those who have no right to vote, yet vote anyway? These a$$hole judges never seem to concern themselves with that.

It’s ALL OUR FAULT.

If we had nominated someone else besides Trump, the Dems wouldn’t have to cheat.

I totally agree. A lack of checking the ID of a voter disenfranchises the rest of us. Friggin Dems!

Ds have a pretty low opinion of minorities it they don’t think minorities are capable of getting an ID.

If minorities are that incapable (dumb?) there’s a much bigger problem. They aren’t able to buy alcohol or tobacco, or fly, or get into bars, or get into the DNC convention or lots of other things that require an ID. Ds should be outraged at all the things minorities are not allowed to do on a day-to-day basis, not just at something they may want to do a couple times a year (or once every 4 years).

Ds should spend their money on educating minorities how to get an ID and maybe on rides to the DMV rather than on defeating “common sense laws” in court.

Voter ID laws discriminate against the lazy and the stupid. They do not discriminate against specific races.

So-called progressives and the courts evidently feel blacks should be brought by the nose to water. And blacks by and large seem to love it.

When you are a dimocRAT, your view is that minorities are lazy, stupid or both. Apparently, federal judges agree with them.

Is ID required to get Medicaid, Obamacare, Medicare, fly on a plane, check out a library book, purchase a legal gun?

The democrats fight these laws not because they think black people are too stupid to breath, that is just the cover story. They do this so groups like ACORN can make fake voter lists that contain names like Joe Schmoe at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Then armed with a list with dozens of those names they can go to a few polling stations per day for the month of early voting. Here in Nevada I can literally go early vote in day one using my neighbors name and nobody will challenge me, the cool thing is my neighbor will get in trouble when he tries to vote.

So, yeah, it really has nothing to do with black people being too stupid to breath, and it does amaze me sometimes how black people allow the democrats to proclaim that idea to the entire world

If we don't need ID to vote, which is the most predigest thing we do, then we don't need ID to buy smokes, liquor, get married, or anything else...

Good for one group of people then good for all the people...

Just like the Bath House Barky Bathroom, good for us, then good for him and ‘Michael’....and their kids...

This Country was made on laws that benefits ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME, and now is the time we live by them!!!

Here in Maryland, when you register, you get a card in the mail. It’s not a photo ID, but WHEN YOU REGISTER YOU GET A CARD IN THE MAIL. Automatically. No excuse for not having at least something to take to the polls.
