Pence Mocks Hillary for Speech That Put Her Husband to Sleep
Townhall.com ^ | July 29, 2016 | Cortney O'Brien

As Katie noticed, Bill Clinton couldn't stay awake during his wife's historic speech at the Democratic National Convention Thursday night. Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine even felt the need to try and block the camera from noticing the embarrassing moment.

Donald Trump's running mate Mike Pence told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Friday that would never happen to the GOP nominee's audience.

"Let me assure you, having been on the road with Donald Trump most of this week, there would never be a need for an elbow," Pence said. "I’ve never been around anybody who’s more energetic, more determined, more focused. I mean, Donald Trump’s energy level, his commitment, his devotion to the American people just radiates out of every minute that I’ve been with him. So I can’t imagine it would ever happen, but I’ve got to tell you, I was having a hard time staying awake listening to Hillary Clinton, too."

It looks like Trump isn't the only one who knows to shell out insults.

Not really fair game.

He is obviously not doing well and it was clearly visible as he read a computer screen during the speech.

Observing that Clintoon was sleeping during Hitlery’s snooze fest speech is not an insult.

I wonder if she threw a lamp at him last night?

I bet Bill got a few lamps thrown at him last night after Hill saw the video of him sleeping through her speech.

Didn’t H! say she was going to put him in charge of getting the economy going again?

After decades of listening to that voice, Bubba has developed a learned response : become unconscious.

If Bill is really that bad off, pretty sick of her to use him as a prop.

One of the few times when Bill probably deserves sympathy...

As another FReeper dubbed him, “Sick Willie”.

I happened to flip over long enough to see Chelsea, looking all puffy and odd, blathering something about grammy reading some choo-choo story. Does she have some chin implant that worked its way loose or what? Her chin and teeth were mesmerizingly strange. Didn’t wait around for grammy.

And one thing we can all do now, and every morning -is call in to C-span and if it's busy, keep trying. When you get through and your name and/or city is called out - mention freerepublic.com and say some good words about Trump and why he's the best choice. From 1999-2001 I was constantly calling C-span and after redialing a couple times, I was easily able to get through dozens of times in those two years.

And unlike back in those early days, there are now no long distance charges. You can call while having coffee, while sitting in your backyard, while watching tv, while walking down the sidewalk, etc.

If enough fr members call Cspan in the mornings, many of us should easily be able to get through.
And like Travis has stated "...we have to do what we can --------while we can!" :)

Everything thrown at the Clintons is fair game...nothing is out of bounds used against these two lifelong criminals.

Oh. Wait. Never mind.

Good, dogs are better creatures by far than the Clinton scum.

It’s always OK to mock Hillary’s speeches. I’m glad to see Trump bringing Pence out of his buttoned-down shell.
Pence will be a good influence on Trump as well.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are responsible for what they are. Not “bimbos” or spoons. Those two are walking Dorian Gray portraits. Go get `em Mike!
