Hillary’s Acceptance Speech Was True To Her—And That’s the Bad News
Politico ^ | July 29, 2016 | Jeff Greenfield

As Donald Rumsfeld might have put it, “You go with the nominee you have, not with the nominee you might want.” Based on the speech she delivered Thursday night—the biggest of her life—Hillary Clinton and her campaign have decided that she will win or lose based on the strengths and weaknesses that have characterized her for decades. In the end, Clinton failed to transcend that issue. You, the voters, she seemed to say, simply have to accept me as I am in all my pedestrian earnestness—especially if the choice is between me and Donald Trump.

The question leading up to Clinton’s acceptance speech was straightforward: Would she cast off the language of an army of pollsters, consultants, and focus-group research? Would she boldly take ownership of the distrust with which two-thirds of Americans now view her? Find a theme to connect the raft of (often admirable) policy proposals that provide her answers to a country whose confidence in the future has been seriously eroded?

The answer was no.

As another poster said, Hillary Clinton is running on her vagina, as in I have a vagina vote for me.

As Former Canadian so well pointed out:
‘Hillary Clinton is running on her vagina, as in I have a vagina vote for me.’

In examining the ‘vaginas’ that are on the world stage as leaders in other countries, and seeing the ruined remains of those once very proud and nationalistic countries, and then transposing Hillary in their stead, my answer is ‘no’.

I love listening to the liberal media trying their best to turn what was an average (at best) speech into the “Gettysburg Address”. Just heard some reporterette on CNN say that Hillary might not have the soaring orator of Obama or the ability to connect with the listener like Bill Clinton, but she successfully delivered her speech with a “workman like” ability. “Workman like” ability? Is that a fancy way of saying dull and boring?

For pathological liars, their own lies are truth to them.

Who designed that ill-fitting suit? She looked like she had Ted Cruz’s tailor.

What I heard about her speech this morning was “it was stable.”

Stable? It almost sounds like they are going to project Clinton as the more “stable” candidate.

Workman like ability LOL LOL There they go again with these words that spin the truth. The fact is Hillary couldn’t give a good speech to save her life because EVERYTHING about the woman is based on lies, she’s a fraud and thank God people are starting to see that. I really think this is Trumps race to lose at this point. If he doesn’t massively screw up from now to November he will beat her easily, he will quite literally save the country from the brink of complete collapse.

She came off like an Old Lady Lost in the isle at the Supermarket. She simply does not have the mental acuity remaining to do the job. Take her off script and she will completely implode. Trump is going to destroy her!

They are. For real. Trump is being painted as unstable, inexperienced, short attention span, off the cuff and reckless. Not to mention the old staples of being a liar, and driven only by selfish ego.

She’s not a good enough politician to dig herself out of the credibility hole she’s dug for herself. Not nearly good enough.
