Oh the I’ve been here longer than you card, lol. Well, I’ve been here originally since 1998 but I could care less about that.
That’s just an observation from reading this thread is several of you seem to be cowering in fear of what the evil leftist culture may think of what Pence said.
I say screw what the evil leftists think. It’s time we have the courage to take them head on. Now, more than ever is a chance to overturn Roe vs. Wade with a majority of people that no longer approve of abortion. Plus, we have a strong leader in Trump that is willing to put up the right judges to make this happen.
There is absolutely no reason to cower in fear over what the leftists might think about this. We MUST have the courage to take them on, for all of our children and grandchildren. We also owe to all those 50 million lives that didn’t even get a chance to be children. We must continue to fight for all lives, born and unborn, and then our nation will begin to heal again.

Of course it will be if Trump puts the right people on the court. Trump has basically said that. He said that the most pro-life thing he’ll do is put pro-life judges on the court. He’s not putting them on there to do nothing. I’m disappointed by the reaction on here. The Democrats already know we want it overturned. The Democrats are 100% open that they want to continue to kill unborn children, and they are 100% open about making sure Roe vs. Wade stays law. Hillary said it tonight. Why are we ashamed? Why do we cower to them on this? We’re in the right for God’s sake. There are 1.3 million unborn children killed a year, and people are wringing their hands because the man says they will end some of it? Sheesh. This is from someone who didn’t even want Pence as VP pick.

I am shocked. I really am. There was a time this would have been celebrated. I thought it was going to be and saw one negative comment and then another. I scrolled down and saw more and more. It was disheartening. Since when are we hiding the fact that we want to protect the unborn? Why can they proudly proclaim they love having 1.3 million abortions a year and would like even more, yet we can’t proclaim we want to save the lives of the most innocent among us or we will lose? Was Mike Pence supposed to lie?

That’s not even in the same ballpark. What Pence said is a standard Republican position, and obviously there is a reason Trump keeps promising pro-life Supreme Court justices.
I think there’s also a pro-life amendment in there.
Personally I don’t think this is the way to go on the life issue.
There is nothing ill advised or bad about it. Trump himself is opposed to Roe vs. Wade and has said he will appoint pro-life justices. He has made no secret of it. The Democrats know it. That’s why they are running the opposite platform (as usual). I wouldn’t have supported Trump in the primaries had he not said he would put pro-life justices on the court.
This is the standard Republican position every election. Who does this surprise?
He should respond that the main emphasis on the life issue will be helping women in crisis pregnancies. Help where help is needed or wanted. You don’t solve this by throwing women to the illegal-abortion wolves—then you have a dead baby and possibly a harmed mother. Make it easier for them to avoid abortion.
Even if Conservative Justices are appointed, Roe v Wade will never be undone.
Those same Conservative Justices would rule for restrictions on Abortion (late term, viability, requiring Doctors to have Hospital Privileges, etc.) that the Liberals always oppose, but Abortion supported by Federal Law is here to stay.
The question was a setup and Mike Pence fell for it. He just gave the Rats a BIG HANGING CURVEBALL to use against Trump. Back Alleys and Wire Hangers here we come.
I am so sick of waiting for the other Shoe to drop with our Candidates. The Press protects Democrats and always looks to derail Republicans.
There is a significant difference between nominating a judge who is likely to follow constitution, and prematurely deciding the result of a judicial decision BEFORE it has even come before the court. Pence can not overturn Roe Vs. Wade. Trump can not overturn a judicial ruling. US constitution will not allow executive branch to overturn ruling by the judicial branch.
Why give unnecessary ammunition to democrats and liberals on a divisive issue? I understand Pence has religious beliefs against abortion. But he is not running for a church position. He is running for a political position. Play it smart or be defeated and be prepared to live with Ginsburg X 4.
Promises, promises.
If he helps Hillary get Elected POTUS, his promises mean nothing.
Might as well be a Never Trumper giving the enemy this much Ammunition with three Months left to go.
