By now you’ve no doubt seen the international crisis which was spawned when Donald Trump answered a question about the DNC email hack, saying he hoped that the Russians found the rest of her 30,000 erased emails. Flipping through the cable news networks this morning you’d think that he just offered to sell the nuclear codes to the highest bidder. The reactions have been swift and ominous from all corners. The editorial board of the Washington Post issued a dire warning, telling voters to beware that, “Donald Trump just invited a Russian cyberattack of his opponent.”
These are symptoms of something which has been going on for quite a while now, but I believe it took a long time to sink in for me because I’m “guilty” of the same thing so often myself. You see, this is something the media isn’t equipped to handle. Trump has already told Fox and Friends that he was being sarcastic when he said that. This answer was replayed on CNN this morning and the response seemed to strike the anchors there as if the GOP nominee had suddenly begun speaking Klingon.
And yet, the idea that someone running for office could regularly engage in sarcasm or even some off color language or jokes is so foreign to the political media that they feel obligated to treat obvious sarcasm as if it was a serious policy proposal. And in reality, it’s not much of an “obligation” to deal with because it helps them continue the narrative and paint Trump as some sort of out of control monster.

THIS IS FUNNY...the Clintons accused Trump of ...wait for it....."committing treason" for asking Russia, or any other governments that may have Clinton's mountain of missing emails in their possession, to return them to the United States.
Charles Krauthammer pounced on this.....said Trump laid a brilliant trap....and the stupid Clintons fell right into it.
B/c Hillary's been telling us....."those aren't classified emails." The missing emails talked about weddings, yoga and cupcake recipes. Not to worry, America. US ntl security and espionage are not involved.
So if Hillary and Bill are suddenly paranoid about Russia having her emails......they must contain something the Clintons don't want revealed (smirk).

I think the real issue here is that the DNC/MSM want us to forget that Hillary had the server and, for whatever reason, skated around the law. That her carelessness and selfishness risk national security and that it disqualifies from being president.
The media has been dealing with stupid people for a long time. They forgot how to converse with an adult with an above average IQ.
The only problem with what Trump said is that no hacking can occur on a server that has been destroyed.
The stupid media forgot to check facts and logic.
Trump won that round.
I watched Trump’s press conference, and anyone with half a brain knew that he was being sarcastic, and was deliberately poking the media for having shown absolutely no interest in the missing emails. That’s why he added that part about the media being grateful for them to be released, knowing well that the media would not want the 30,000 emails released, ever, by anyone.
