The North Carolina GOP called out Tim Kaine for wearing the flag of Honduras on his lapel Wednesday night, instead of the American flag.
Problem is, he was really wearing a pin showing support for his Marine son.

Blue Stars matter.
Oops.
Yep, the land of impulsive comments.
Open mouth - insert foot.
The flag pin thing is already retarded. Men don’t walk around wearing pins. Obama refused because he hates America, but this post 911 fad has gotten idiotic.
Yes. This seems to be a common problem these days.
Unfortunately the GOP needs to be a lot more careful than the the filthy libs and the DNC as every mistake by the GOP will be jumped on as the biggest story since Watergate while every mistake by the other side is ignored or laughed off.
Twitterocracy
Another Dan Quayle moment. Just what we don’t need.
Yes, the GOP should be more careful, and yes lapel pins are pitiful, stupid, pointless and obnoxious.
Look at me, look how much I care about X, I wear it on my lapel.
Who cares.
Unless someone is wearing an ISIS lapel pin, this pin stuff is just petty crap. NC GOP got burned playing petty politics .... grow up and focus on some BIGGER issues, will ‘ya? There are plenty of them out there where Clinton/Kaine are concerned .... ones that make a difference to the survival of this country, actually.
If I were a candidate for a major office in this country and my son had just deployed, I would shut up about it. He’s putting a target on his boy’s back. Prayers up for a brave young man.
Sounds like a goofy RINO to me. They always screw up and blame conservatives
It looks like a set up to me. a real ‘false flag’.
The two pins are dramatically different.
Something only a republican globalist would do.
Just to embarrass Trump and the conservatives.
TWB
i have seen that happen with lawyers. The one lawyer on your side gives the talking point ammo to the other.
I don't know when this changed but Obama always seems to be wearing a flag pin now.
It’s been a while since we had one of these.... WTFIIWNC?
