“Since its inception in 2002 however, the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), has very gradually and patiently infiltrated nearly every nook and cranny of the government, including the military,” he said. “It was, as it were, an Islamist coup from within. They did this through forming an alliance with a movement known as Hizmet, led by the Islamist preacher Fethullah Gulen. Gulen, a disciple of the Sufi preacher Said Nursi, preached a form of Islam that is very moderate and service orientated on the outside, but which has clear designs to take over through patiently infiltrating the entire system. Gulen has been famously quoted as once saying: ‘You must move within the arteries of the system, without anyone noticing your existence, until you reach all the power centers… You must wait until such time as you have got all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institution in Turkey.’ As such, most of the AKP supporters were also Gulentists. The problem however, is that although Gulen founded the movement, he has been living in exile in rural Pennsylvania for decades.”

The MSM sure made this story disappear.

Turkey is part of NATO, right?

Erdogan stages a fake coup, arrests or purges all his political opponents, and basically appoints himself dictator of the new Islamist government.

As far as I know, no European countries have publicly challenged Erdogan.

I didn't watch the GOP Convention.

Has Trump or the GOP talked about the Islamist revolution in Turkey at all?

IIRC, Magog is Russia and Gog is the ruler of Magog. And Turkey is Gomer.

Trump has said very little about Turkey so far, but his national security briefings start next week I believe so he will be up to speed shortly and will surely address this issue.

Erdogan will lead Turkey from an secular Islamic State to a full blown Radical one. This will complete the nations that will conspire to eliminate Israel. Everything is in place. The nations are angry. Dark schemes have been hatched. The countdown has begun.

Sounds just like what the progressives have done to our Constitutional government.
