Gov. Jerry Brown Friday rejected parole for former Charles Manson follower Leslie Van Houten, who was convicted of the 1969 killings of grocers Leno and Rosemary La Bianca at their Los Feliz home.
A state parole board had recommended in April that Van Houten, now 66, be paroled.
When considered as a whole, I find the evidence shows that she currently poses an unreasonable danger to society if released from prison, Brown wrote in his decision rejecting parole.

He figured that with all the refugees and illegals, California doesn’t really need another home grown psycho killer out loose.

Over the years, whenever folks chat about her time before Manson, or the years with Manson....the amount of LSD usage gets brought up. I’ve read that she was openly using LSD by age 15, and this went on for almost an entire decade. I would have personal doubt that she’s got all her braincells intact.
She’s been in jail since 1971....I doubt if she’d have the skills to make it outside of the system.

Now just hold it right there, Bud.
jk.... Remember the good old days when I could leave this tag on and disrupt the entire thread until someone came along and closed the tag? Good times were had, my friend... GOOD times.

Who knows, maybe Hollywood might get mad for him paroling a movie starlet’s murderer? But likely it is due to the infamy of the murders.

I’m surprised moonbeam doesn’t just put her in one of his sanctuary cities?
Guess one would have to be a Mexican psychotic killer.

One of our former employees was a good friend of hers in high school. She was a homecoming queen. She was so hot back in the day.

For the record, she wasn’t a movie starlet’s murderer. She was not involved in the Sharon Tate murder(s).
